ok who's watching ep 51-52? I'm definitely gonna rewatch and suffer again

their scenes together are very limited but i have to agree their chemistry was expectional. ZLS is amazing she has good chemistry with all of her leading men.

the 3rd part of ADoS was a mess I ffed almost every episode lol. Watched first two ep of LBFAD. My problem with LBFAD is... i just can't get into xianxia no matter what. I love Yu Shuxin in YWY but for some reason her drama never really interest me.

we can just ignore that take and focus on our love for the show I guess. by the way how in earth is LLTG cinematography bad... lol.

well I also disagreed with her take on ADoS and LBFAD so I guess we have different tastes heh.

Anytime! But it's sooo long you might want to FF. It's a very slow burn romance and just like LLTG, the FL has other suitors before the ML.

Thanks God if it wasn't that angsty. I'm going to continue watching.


The story of Minglan deals with ordinary family life much more deeper. The household was the battlefield. It has angsty moments (especially in the beginning)
but not as much as LLTG. It has TONS of comedic moments. Both FL and ML are also very scheming.


interesting thing that the personality of FL and ML are the exact mirror from CSS and LBY personality. In story of Minglan the FL is more calm and composed and the ML is much more free-spirited.

Watched Goodbye My Princess and One and Only but both are pure pain and depressing. (Thankfully One and Only has Forever and Ever to balance the bitterness)


The only xianxia I watched is Love and Redemption. the story and acting were good. I ignored painful CG and dubbing voice. Planning to watch Ancient Love Poetry for ZDY but people say it's super angsty so Idk...

Storyline wise it was satisfy. But editing wise, no. It was too jarring and choppy. Other than that, all's good for me.

you should watch next episode as to find out why she left him. it's very reasonable.

it's much more intense and compact than the story of minglan (my fav too!). Both focus are on family, but LLTG has a wider area to work. The angsty parts are painful, but the comedy is in par with the story of minglan.
