Did someone read the novel and could tell me, if it has a sad ending or a bittersweet ending like Till The End…
No it's a very happy ending and the way they wrote their relationship is very enjoyable even if it has usual tropes and lies, there is no toxicity, they respect each other, there is something about the way they put trust in each other and protect each other that is very refreshing, I won't spoil you but I can only say that I really enjoyed how Ming Yi talked to Ji Bozai towards the last episodes. So don't worry watch it without worry ^^
Honestly although their relationship was built on a usual trope of We start using each other, but then we fall in love, but there are still lies, it was still beautiful and refreshing; they protected, cared for each other even through their fights: "two people of the same mind", what I really enjoyed and which was refreshing is how Ji Bozai wanted to handle everything on his own but Ming Yi kept pushing him to realize he didn't have to, he could count on her, and he did not break her trust, he kept his promise and they fought together until the end. Plus I'm glad they got their Happy Ending. I miss them haha
Ahhhhh lol I thought the prince of zhushui kingdom was the underling of mu quibai who punched himself to give him a teeth, the princes brother looks so much like each other and the one who looked the most like them was Mu's minion πππ
I really enjoyed this drama, for me this year k-drama plots has been rather bland, besides few exceptions, c-drama have uped the game, so I did not expect much I thought I was going to drop it like any other but to my suprise it was a really fun watch. 8/10
She summed up her situation very well when she said that even if she is telling the truth now, he won't believe her because she is the boy who cried wolf. And I totally get why ppl are siding more with FL, it's harder to side with the ML because from the start we've seen how much the FL struggled in her life, we know the reality that she faced bc of her background, and we know she loves him. The way the story is told is made so that we side with the FL. Both are calculating individuals, and ML wasn't seeking love and a better life like she was; he knew the truth and didn't care because he thought he had found his female counterpart. So obviously he won't think she truly loves him, he is sure she is a great actress like her fake parents who only seek wealth. And that's what makes us want to watch this drama, we want to know when and how he'll come to realize she does love him and for him to start falling for her.
So the little brother is actually his son then, right? I kept thinking how big the age gap was between the ML and his little brother, now it makes sense that he's the son he had with his former gf who died in a diving accident. And seriously, how can the sister of his dead gf want to get with him, like nay wtf
I really don't get why the rating is low compared to other current Thai BL airing. I'm pleasantly surprised by the quality of it, usually for GMMTV I don't expect this much, moreover as many have said Golden Blood was disappointing, therefore when I gave a try to this show I had very low expectations. For now, plot-wise, it is still the beginning, but the story setting is well done. Other aspects I like are how different it is from the usual GMM BL drama, the color grading is very pretty, which surprised me because it is usually done badly with GMM, BGM are well chosen, and the camera angles are not weird.
I'm really impressed with both of them, they are doing amazing at making me feel even more single haha the way they look at each other they really know how to give the "I'm down bad for you" look, it's been a long time since I've seen it. I'm really enjoying it.
It's always funny to me when I see the FL character defending the one who tortured/hurt her, like be for real, if you try to kill me slowly do you think I'll defend your a*s no just die b*tch ππ. I'll only let it slide bc of the part were she was told that she is his anchor for good that'll avoid making him destroy the world. But frankly I'd honestly love to see a FL joining hands with the ML "villain", who isn't one like here, and just go: F everyone ππ
As I strated the show I was almost certain they'd be a story abt r*pe bc it's always the case in the real world unfortunately. My suspicion was confirmed and I feel that when the whole world will get to see the red lines, as shown in the trailer, a lot of ppl will get killed especially incestuous pedos like the father. Not sure they will show it tho.
At the end of ep4 we see that the one connected to the detective's niece, Seon Ah, is also in the hospital and from the trailer, we see the detective pushing down his senile father in a hospital room. It's therefore obvious that the detective's father has r*ped his granddaughter/Seon Ah.
Other aspects I like are how different it is from the usual GMM BL drama, the color grading is very pretty, which surprised me because it is usually done badly with GMM, BGM are well chosen, and the camera angles are not weird.
