How is this storyline the same as Not Me or Cooking Crush? If you don't like it then you could just ignore it and drop it. The way you're engaging with all the negative comments is telling

Firstly he got it done after filming The Trainee so idk how it's bothering you when you watched the ep. Secondly that's his own choice and wish and doesn't need any outsider opinion.

First episode was not bad. I liked the different style of editing they've tried in this. Plus the infographics at the end was a refreshing thing to see. Many people may find Jane strict but I think he was a good representation of what internships in a competitive field are like. Plus I think he thinks Ryan is a rich brat who is doing the internship on a whim.
Seeing Off's filmography, it's nice to see him try on a variety of roles.

If you had been here during the airing you would've had all ur questions answered. They didn't pick up that he's a twin because they never knew he even had a sibling. Imagine if your friend one day acted a bit weird, is it plausible to think a twin just appeared or that they had an attitude change? Just before Black gets put in the coma they trudge it up to him having an attitude change because he had abandoned Sean during one of their plans. And it's a slow build. If you want quick and fast romance then this isn't it. If u even watched this through then you'd understand why this is considered one of the best series to come out from gmmtv

Do you understand that after the quality of Not Me people have higher expectations from OffGun ? Cooking Crush had issues with the scripting and editing and that's why it didn't be as successful. It's weird how some of you act like you want them to fail.

Also 2nd lead couple hypers specially the ones ,who skip the main leads parts but have the most to criticise about the main pairing, always give me pick me vibes.

Everytime I'm on MDL I realise most bl watchers can't make the difference between badly acted and badly written. This series had issues with editing and writing since the first ep (I didn't expect much from this team anyway) but some of the comments here clearly seem to have come prejudiced against OffGun. Guess that's part and parcel of being one of the most popular pairings.

Watching OffGun for the first time but you already pre judged them huh? Calling them cheesy when they've probably done the least cheesiest series in their past is kinda funny. Also listing 4 of them from gmmtv when they've not even been main leads in a single series is kinda being biased (literally Aungpao's first role but you're acting like he's some veteran). Gawin's the only one who's done some heavy lifting but he was still the weakest one in Not Me even according to the director and writers. Maybe watch other OG series before having such weird takes.

By literal definition it counts as violence, but your implication was that it was completely uncalled for and non justifiable when Changma had already made his intentions clear to Ten. Prem did not know the full extent of Changma's intentions so while he was uncomfortable and said no to the hug he didn't realise how far the manipulation went. Not to mention the power difference. You're talking in terms of legality and I am talking in terms of morality. Haven't we already seen so much of sexual assault being excused due to technicalities, lack of proof and because of the lax in legal terminology in real life? That doesn't mean it doesn't happen. Also a court would let Ten defend his actions. That's why the final decision is left to a judge or jury and not just based on legal terms as they also consider the intent and context
And you're asking nuance from me regarding Dynamite's character when Fire himself called him out for stalking him. Not to mention it wasn't just purposeful run ins at Uni but also during Fire and Jane's date when Dynamite and Samsee were chasing them around. That counts as stalking in literal terms.
Your comment seems hypocritical because you want nuance and understanding for Dynamite's behaviour when you are not entertaining any for Ten's behaviour.

You're calling Ten a 'psycho' for punching Changma while not realising that Changma was making Prem uncomfortable and forcing physical contact by using his position of power as someone Prem admires? Maybe differentiate between actions by their intent and not just labeling everything as violence.
And you're calling Fire Dynamite a healthy couple when it literally started with Dynamite stalking Fire? Save the moral science lesson if you can't apply it equally to everything.

I am laughing at how you called TayNew iconic but can't accept that OffGun have far more presence and plaudits for theirs chemistry in the industry. CM has the leisure of already being a super successful manga and had a hugely successful Japanese LA, just like all these Hana Yori Dongo remakes, any language CM remake will do well.

People tend to root for the underdog who they think is going under appreciated so there's more vocal FD commenters while OffGun's influence doesn't need to be bragged abt the same way. NA are a fresh pairing and the FD plot is more push pull and more chasing so it's pretty much every bl watcher's lane. I've noticed healthy relationships potrayed in media do not get the popularity they deserve and TP here have a very mutual love so it's pretty typical for some to find it boring.

I guess you haven't watched Not Me or any of Off's recent projects for you to hold those opinions about Off's acting. Anyway it's a matter of personal opinion to like ship etc but in order to praise one you don't need to put down another.

Funny thing is one of the top helpful (negative) reviews here lists out a bunch of reasons why they found this dumb, while those are the very reasons I liked it lol.

Finally finished the last two eps!
This series has been entertaining since the get go (the intro just pumps me up).
6 episodes and they successfully kept the twists coming. Shoutout to the EP5 coffee date convo between Pat and Mote.
It gave me chills when they panned to Mote alone , everything clicking for him then the single glass of coffee.
The cliffhangers for each ep was EXACTLY what it should be.
The finale was a bit of resolving the main conflicts and I can accept the open ending cuz well 6eps (can't do much more than that)
But I loved the main point of the show being about sticking a value to each person.
Some are born with it and don't appreciate it, some have to struggle and some reach the deep end in this struggle. Also a person's worth is not always quantifiable in numbers.
I'm not surprised some people cannot get the comedy tone of this cuz it's black comedy, it's not a genre that many can appreciate the absurdity of.
My favourite scenes were the Mote imaginations and his plan revelations. Very witty all around. Sun and Mote's characters were a good contrast to each other.
Kudos to the team! Wake up rabbit studio should work more with Gmmtv, the production was great for a short series. Not a flawless series but one worth watching.
