I think they made the scene purposely blase. The way they were stuffing the body seemed too unserious , and I guess it's understandable considering how every other second they keep thinking of ways someone or the other ends up dying. Doy out there agreed to run an illegal online brothel for no reason truth be told 😅

Have yet to watch Ep 5 but just gotta say EP 4 was excellent!! Mote's character has been written so well, he's smart but knows how to use his smarts for a good hustle. The negotiation scene was executed so well (every major scene actually).
I am in love with the direction and execution of this so much. You can see and understand clearly the vision the makers were going for and they've done full justice to the dark comedy while also maintaining the suspense.
Not even being biased but this has got to be one of the best things I've seen from Gmmtv in a while and it sucks it's on Disney Hotstar in Thailand. It should've been on Netflix. And gmmtv YouTube is just full of bl fans so it'll be tough to get the views it deserves.
The Mote Sun banter made me giggle and after his role as Tawi it's fun to see Pae play a no
nonsense badass, literally every side character is
delivering.

3rd EP bringing the twists! And leaving me with a lot of questions. They weren't kidding when they said Mond practiced real hard for this. Sun is such a creep. Off is really good at playing these kinda chatty characters. Director was talking about how he likes the Mote and Sun scenes and I can see why in this ep. Right now my doubts on everyone except Mote (mainly cuz I wonder if the writers will bring more unexpected twists)

Where do I need to advertise this series cuz it deserves so much more attention!!!
Just the Intro and outro alone are one of the best of any gmmtv series. The plot and execution is REFRESHING to say the least.
Ep2 was even better than Ep1. This build up is so exciting! Mote is gonna be one of my favourite Off characters.

I have a completely different opinion about View's acting, cuz while Lookzo's character is well written I don't think she pulls it off well. Specially some of her dialogue delivery. Ohm, Tu ,Off's characters have just been one dimensional since the past few eps compared to Lookzo so it's not a surprise that their acting doesn't stick out.

First ep and I enjoyed it a LOT.
The writing is crisp with some very deep thoughts put lightheartedly , and considering it's only 6 eps they've edited this pretty well imo.
Acting, cinematography/color grading and the bgm is very much to my taste.
Mote has been tailor made for Off, a chatty smart alec who's good at heart but horribly luckless. Jan is so hot as Kat and her chemistry with Off is sizzling. (OffJan is such an underrated pairing). Louis as Doy is very well suited and lol Mond for me always had a punchable face so him playing a character I actually wanna punch is perfect.
First time watching this studio's work but I am loving it. It's very movie quality. The plot already had me interested so the execution has made me really happy.
If anyone is in 2 minds I'd suggest to go for it
since it's 2 eps per week so it'll be done in 3 weeks.

Also if anyone is wondering about the Plu Kongkwan age gap, just putting it out there that the age of consent in Thailand is 15 yrs. I know it's a bit odd but I feel the story is written based on more provincial areas of Thailand and not cities. Thailand is one of the more brazen amongst Asian countries so I can see how they've emphasised it in Lookzo's personality and her relationship w her dad.

Each episode about to lead me to depression. Plu's situation is so pitiable. He goes around trying to be there for everyone but ultimately has no one who can really help him. That cinema owner's words to Papa Oh were cruel but had truth in it. And as much as I adore how he went to talk to Plu, Plu doesn't need another father figure, he needs a full-time person he can depend on.
Every scene I watch with Phukao and his family, I only wanna scream 'Get therapy'. The parent's breakdown is making Phukao make decisions and come to conclusions that are one-sided. You can't even blame him at this point, but he has to realise he cannot put Zo or Plu in positions where they are made to chose.
The pacing is still good, all I ask is not too messy of a love triangle if there is gonna be any.

Sincerely can Gmmtv please give Off a character that doesn't have so much suffering in their life? I am spent from crying. They gave us 3 secs of Plu and his grandparents being happy in ep1 and ep2 decided to snatch it all away. I can't take good old people having fate be unkind to them 😭. Plu is basically playing babysitter and stand in parent to the younger ones but who's taking care of him?
The child actors have been very good, w the boys being the standouts. They've captured their older counterparts well.
Story plot wise I am appalled by how the parents are dealing w this, they're giving every possible childhood trauma to the kids. Intrigued by how much longer the creators will keep the 'secret'.

Well at this point it'd be pretty obtuse not to conclude it's w Off, specially since he also said the same for the Not Me flag scene. As far as I've seen acting projects wise gmmtv have never gatekept the pairings excepting OG. They've of course kept promoting the cps for merch, variety shows and all. Financially a new BW Bl or ON BL would bring more money to the company and they could v well MAKE them do it but it seems they're respecting the actors choices.

This is such a miscast. If CM was going to have a TH remake and w gmmtv, the perfect pairing (physical appearances wise) should've been OffGun and TayNew should've had the Cooking Crush. It would've been more suited to both pairs but well we gotta wait and see. It's gonna be tough for them to convince the ones who loved the Japanese LA.

I have been waiting for OffGun in a proper slice of life genre. The mock trailer seems to have been shot last minute in one day, one location so it does look bit sloppy. But I'm banking on the writer Noolek (Not Me) to give us a well written series adaptation.
Plus knowing Gun actually does love cooking and Off originally wanted to be a doctor irl lol it feels very fated.

The redeeming point is the screenwriter is from Not Me and they've said they want it to be feel good on Gun's request but will also be tackling social prejudices against pple who take up arts (here culnary) as a career.

Well Gun was the one who requested for this kdrama like plot w Off. Gmmtv artists mostly seem to always have a say in the works they are part of, specially the popular artists.

OffGun new BL series announced and it's Slice of life genre with Not Me writer. The mock trailer is up. 🥳 Though it feels like plain fluff, the writer said she's gonna address a lot of more societal pressures and prejudices faced by people who pursue arts/art related careers.

These social phobias are generated by culture. In the west (mostly cuz of Christianity) being Non-binary, gender neutral, wanting to transition into male/female has always been seen as something 'freakish'/ ' unnatural' so gender affirmation becomes a need. But in Thailand that follows Buddhism, there has always been a sort of acceptance of the other gender. So trans community there does not have the same level of dyshphoria as outside therefore not the equivalent level of trauma. Gender affirmation in Thai language is not so stressed upon. You can ask any Thai translator you know. Of course there are transphobes there but Transphobia hate crime is not the same level or the kind seen abroad.

And they killed Mimi! For what? Probably my last straw at hoping for any good for Tan's character.

Tan's right in getting mad at Kim for not confessing his loong nhuad identity, and it's not just as someone who's in love with Nub. Us as audience see Kim's intentions are pure but imagine you being in Tan's place. Your friend suddenly has a new person in their life, who they've started trusting and you find out this new person has a whole secret account they've been using w a false identity. Plus Kim doesn't clarify why he is still keeping it a secret. Tan gave him that chance to say it himself instead of selling out Kim yet Kim is being weak. Kim got rattled because he knows he's wrong for it.
The ex angle shouldn't have been brought out, made this more makjang than it needed to be but guess they needed a bit of conundrum for Nub. 3 eps left so lets see how they wrap it up.
