I've never liked any of Park Shin Hye's characters in her dramas that I've seen. Maybe in Pinocchio ... because…
I actually think it's realistic that Ha-Neul broke down and decided to break up with the ML. It would be unrealistic for her to start dating him and then magically her depressive symptoms go away because she's in love. This is also her first boyfriend ever and she's emotionally stunted so her breaking up with him after experiencing a major depressive episode makes a lot of sense. She has quite literally no experience being in a relationship so to expect her to know how to properly communicate her feelings with the ML would be impractical. Given her history she's use to doing everything and handling everything alone. She was in a relationship for a day so it's more likely they'd break up early on over something like this. It's actually better they broke up still early in the drama so they have time to reconcile andhopefully we can see her growth in the next 8 episodes.
I feel like this series shows really well the highs and lows of depression. That one day it might feel like everything…
That's what makes this kdrama so realistic and why I like it. The fact they both are struggling mentally and their life is so up and down makes it more realistic. In life things don't last. You can have one good day and then the rest of your week be horrible.
I can recommend some shows do you watch Thai and Japanese dramas ??
ofc! If you do like C dramas and you're into romance I definitely recommend Journey to Love or Only for Love. For Thai dramas I recommend the one that just came out Ready Set Love, it was good and different than I expected. For Japanese dramas I just binged House of Ninjas. Not my typical J drama but I loved it.
I haven't watched a journey to love, although I am planning to, but i can say that, imo, the story of my journey…
At first the number of episodes use to discourage me but I prefer them long now. Especially when the story is good each episode gives you more and more. Also when things start to pick up they don't stop. In the beginning you'll wonder where it's going and then when the ML and FL meet that's when the real story begins.

It's excellent. The FL is strong and the chemistry between both the ML and FL is so good. You also fall in love with the side characters as well. The camaraderie that's displayed makes the storyline stronger and the way they work together. It also has some of the best martial arts scenes I've ever watched in a wuxia before. The ending could've been better but for about 40 episodes of the drama I rate it a 10/10. Overall it was a great watch and I recommend it.
This is for anyone who's watched Journey to Love. How would you say this drama is in comparison. Is it just as good or similar? I'm familiar with both the ML and FL previous work so I know they're good actors I'm just wondering how good the storyline is.
