ep 10 is just weird. what is with that aggressive salesmanship. why should he wear sports bra? does he have breasts like women? was their products not designed for women? how should he judge the merit by trying it on himself then?
btw do all cancer doctors take chemotherapy or are they all disrespecting their patients??
makjang is one thing but the drama should at least take care of logic.
i'm on episode 9 and the drinking and boxing sequence are so weird. Even if the ML has deep rooted notions regarding gender, he at least should know what is acceptable to say and what can be construed as sexist remark. Also the writer trying to justify FL's competency by making her box well. What is the relation? And even if the FL wanted to show that she should be treated as a boss and not as a woman, she cannot make her subordinate have a boxing match with her against his will. She is in a position of power. This should be seen as workplace violence.
tae beom's chauvinistic behaviour towards han is really irritating. When she bazenly asks if he got divorce because of her, he says no. Why is he enabling han? I'm not saying that it was completely han's fault but she openly admitted during a lunch that she wanted to reunite with her ex knowing that he was married.
Finished it and thoroughly enjoyed it (plenty of skipping through the sub plots helps) just about every makjang…
please spoil for me if tae joon is a bad character? Synopsis says he cheats on her for success. However he is the ML i guess. I don't want to watch a drama with a bad lead.

Your defination of jerk seems outdated,ml behaved nicely with others, its only different with fl only.Similarly…
FL is acting badly towards ML. Yes she had some notions about the ML which is driving her. However the thing is FL's reasoning is clear to me while that of ML is not. Its not like ML pulled FL's hair in 3rd standard. He was in college and acted unamicably towards FL for no apparent reason.
ep 5 is out and I think that at least the frama will not improve even if it doesn't worsen.
I think the main issue is that the writer has formed the overall story in their head. Now the scenes are in support of that, However we don't have that story and are learing of it through the scenes itself.
For eg. the writer has created the story arc such that the ML acts as a jerk while being caring inside. Only the writer knows why though. Most likely, the writer has given some noble or traumatic or uncontrollable reason for the ML to do so. So for the writer, ML acting like a jerk is not repulsive. However, as we do not know the reason, and the reason is not being hinted at also, I personally am starting to like the ML less and less. Yes the scenes have established that he is caring in his heart but still the main point is that he is acting like a douche. In the end whenever there is a reveal of his motivations, I doubt I can like the ML as much the writer wants me to.
Yes we understand that the ML is caring but is puting up a farce that he is a self-absorbed jerk. No need to explain it again and again with same trope of FL finding out that the ML was being nice in the past when he acted like a jerk in front of her.
But now can we please have some motivation. Ok I get that now FL will come to know all ML has done for her, realise that she likes him, agonize and finally confess. But I want to know why was ML acting like a jerk. Even at this point, when I know ML is good at heart, I can't still root for him. Yes he was not truly bad but just acted bad, so what. The crux is that he acted in such a way that caused grief to others.
So tell us the reason soon or don't expect viewers to root for ML because even if the reason is revealed at the end, he would still have been a jerk for the whole show.
it has become a common practice to present both sides of an arguement as equals. I hate that. Yes many things are like that but more often than not, the situations in dramas are not like that. There is an unambiguos right and wrong. In that scenario, presenting both sides as two faces of the same coin is really frustrating to watch and is degrading of the concept of justice.
does this drama deal with the issue or just mentions it?
