Judging from your profile you seem to hate gong Jun alot. Why then do you always follow his dramas? In fact you have only ever watched his dramas & reviewed them seeing your profile.

Why do you torture yourself? Do you not have hobbies? Or do you think people will dislike him because of your reviews.

Very impressed with the first 4 episodes. Wardrobe is chefkiss and very promising plot. Can't wait to see character developments of all characters involved

No other guys who like FL in this. Miles Wei character is the "SML" in the book. But he is not the typical annoying one. The character is a really good & complex one

Went back & reread & you are right. It's understandable her crying because he saved her for 37 years but wasn't there to see her off and it was her form of gratitude.

That was a spoiler for me coz I haven't reached that part. Also yeah that is worth crying over. I will probably cry too when I reach that part.

In the novel Tu shan Jing (Yeshiqi) and Xiao Yao end up together. (The kind hearted one who most dramas would make SML over the rrogant cruel toxic one wins which is quite refreshing but she does love all 3 MLs in different ways)

Tushan Jing is the sole reason she was alive. He saved her first. He gave her his spiritual power to preserve her when he could have used it to get out of the death maze alone. He knewhe couldn't get her out so he decided to sacrifice himself for a chance she could survive but he really thought she was dead.
I don't understand the disrespect of Jing in that scene when he did more than all MLs & found her first because if he hadn't they XY would have really died.
Also all characters have their ambitions. TSJ is not like xuan or XL. He didn't even avenge on his brother who tortured him so you think he cares about any revenge? What would be the use when xy is already dead? He decided he didn't want to live in a world without her.

All MLs played their vital role in saving XY but Jing is the one who did the most important part.

Also just because a character is gentle & kind doesn't mean they are weak. Being cruel is not the measure of strongness.
Jing is actually the strongest because to have courage to forgive someone who tortured you for years is not for the weak. He knew he could do it because he is very smart & strategic but he decided not to do it. That is not weakness. Being a badass is cool and all but it's not the only way to be strong & it's easier than forgiving.

Sorry to people who are used to cruel and arrogant characters as MLs. LYF is unique.

See that is where things get clarified when you talk about her using logic to choose who she would be with. Among all MLs Jing is the one who she risked everything for
She once said she would never have hope but she had hope for Jing. She said she would never cry for a man but she cried for Jing. (Yes she never cried for XL. They added that scene in the drama but XY never cried after XL disappeared after treating her in the novel lol), she said she will never wait and doesn't like waiting but she waited for Jing even after 15 year promise.
Out of all MLs the only one she ever felt angry towards or heartbreak towards was Jing.
She put him on a higher pedestal than all other MLs.
Whatever xuan or XL did to her she never got angry at them the way she did Jing.

Trust me if XY loved XL then love would have made her risk it all or act the way she did with Jing with him. But because she did not have that kind of love for him she never ever took what he did to her to heart. She forgave him easily while with Jing she always really hurt if he disappointed her but eventually forgave him because heart wants what it wants.

Eventually Jing got tied up by family and couldn't abandon his family for her and she hurt very much but she forgave him & understood because she loved him and didn't want to lose him.

If she felt such a way towards XL then she could have risked it the way she did for jing. She would have given him second chance after second chance. But XL actions never affected her in anyway. That is why he could beat her up, scare her or threaten her but she would cheese with him the next day like nothing. She saw him threaten to kill xuan as FFB but still chose to be friendly with him.
