What gave people the idea that if two dramas air at the same time then it means theyre fighting eachother? Cant people watch two at the same time? Unless they both air on the same day & the same air time then i dont see the problem.
Yang Yang currently has two dramas airing.
Also it youku wouldnt be offending anyone by airing the same time as prosecution elites.
Each drama has their audience & fans of reba can watch two at the same time.
The government sure cant force people to watch if they don't want to.
Those non romance & realism dramas are normally watched by the older audience & mostly cater to only chinese audience & those dramas usually gets lots of views due to airing on national TV. They just contain ccpp propaganda. Only young people who watch are fans of the actors.

I understand. The thing is when the writers sell the books, they lose rights & say in what is done in the adapted story. Unless the writer is an experienced screen writer & she writes the script like Gu Man.
Sadly not all authors know script writing & they dont get contacted once the deal is done even.
I have a fave author too & all of her adapted works butcher the stories.
I just learnt not to put my expectations up high.

Novels are always better and uncensored. This drama was a low budget production with censorship as its enemy too

He has been working nonstop ever since 2020 filming drama after drama. I know he said he wants to chase the high of popularity before it cools but due to recent events, he really shd rest for 2 months.

The next time we will receive any new material for this drama is when they announce its airdate which is like July or August so im going to pretend it doesnt exist to cope with the waiting.
