After some thought and reading some comments about Wang mom I realized one more of main themes.
Wang and his mother have a special bond - due to the nature of her work, early divorce and Wang father's death. It's not a typical mother - son relationship.
In relationship with Wang will also not be "typical" due to nature of his relationship with Wang mother and especially his "father" whom Wang look so much alike.
They are both looking for Wang father ghost in Wang and try to make Wang stand it for him, in their respective ways.
Mother by treating her son like friend and boyfriend - she is possessive of him and want to control him - not wanting him to walk out and leave her. As her husband did - due to their "difference". Car driving scene - how much Wang mother was against it VS Wang father died in car accident.
While In - felt attracted to Wang from the first moment he saw him due to his psychical appearance and fell into the familiar pattern (which could be seen during balcony scene) he previously had with Wang father.
Wang father who also been in a relationship with these two and needed to choose between them. Could it be that history will repeat itself? Wang reliving his own father dilemma and needing to make his own choices?
Ok in next episode snipped we have Ayan hugged by some woman - can it be Sani? She is new to the school. She is young. She might be an acquaintance/girlfriend of Ayan uncle? Can it be that both of them got into Suppalo School to reveal the secret? Even working together?
This episode was setting ground - I also felt that it over-explained some thing - but then i read YT comments ... and suddenly it make sense why they do it.

The way that In approached Wang - asking him to show him - Wang favorite toy growing up - who want to bet that its Wang father memento? "It just that i want to travel... from the north pole to its southern counterparts. And learn of all the things I never got to know." In being able to repeat Wang words almost if he had this conversation many times before - subconsciously changing to formal tone. Everything points to the fact he had this conversation with Wang father many times before who was his "upperclassmen" among other things - maybe In was even the one who give him this glass globe.
But the way In glazed over that fact and changed topic to "equality" and "We are like nephew and uncle but it doesn't feel like it" coupled with his body language make me think he is aware of what he is doing.

Personally, i think they are part of foreshadowing - experienced popular ship that went through all problems ship can face. If you rewatch "P" speech at the beginning of ep.1 - it can easy be seen as foreshadowing for Pan and Nott story.

Because Nott already signed contract - this mean he knew about this deal and didn't say anything even thought he knew Pan was hopping for this deal. It can also be just lashing back - with Pan family situation he might feel like he failed. He worked so hard but the one who was selected was easygoing Nott who didn't even seems to care about it.

First Wang and his mom getting lost is probably no coincidence - its pretty clear that Wang made it happen because he wanted to meet his father and mother old friend that was on EVERY photo with his dad. These photos... In looked very VERY close to Wang father - my first thought seeing them was wow Wang mom is ultimate third wheel. Is she aware that her bf is dating the guy next to him? They were all in the same collage and Wang mom got pregnant so they got married while In run away - "went to study aboard". But their marriage didn't work out due to "differences" and short after got divorced. It sound very much like closeted gay case. Even Wang mom confrontation with In point to that - just not sure if she pretends to be oblivious to heard truth directly from In or she truly is. One way of another In definitively had romantic feelings for Wang dad - his look when he first saw Wang - its like he saw his lover come back to life.
