if i skip d break up episodes will i miss too much?? lolol
They don't stop thinking about each other during the break. It's more frustrating than anything. Cause they just need to talk it out. They reconcile in 36. They open their restaurant during the breakup. Most of the plot for the last arc happens during the breakup. I skipped all the episodes until I got the reconciliation, then just went backwards. lol. IMO, if we had to point fingers, I say it's Pan'er's fault. She was too emotional. If she didn't say everything with needles, they could've talked it out. Like after everything he has done, you can't give him the chance to explain himself? Thankfully, she was the one to fix it, since she was in the wrong.
And Zhaodi talking a lot of shit to GQF and Chen Lian, that grinded my gears too. It's not her business to say anything. And yeah, I know cause plot, but she was the one that misplaced the monies, albeit unknowingly. Zhaodi had a huge hand in the misunderstanding.
He will break all ties with his father around E33, but you understand why when that happens.
Definately OOC for GQF. The Teahouse represents their whole relationship.
Teahouse built - GQF convinces Pan'er to marry him. Moving forward he needs to help with Pan'er's insecurities. Teahouse destroyed - Relationship is destroyed. Stepping out of Teahouse - Pan'er forces GQF out of the destroyed Teahouse into her world (i.e. leaving the past behind and moving towards the future with her).
The thing is Pan'er wasn't confident about her love for GQF. She totally 180 him without trying to find out what he really has to say. In her mind after the money situation and not being to find him, he had broken his promise and abandoned her. She said all the mean things to him to intentionally hurt him and wouldn't believe anything he had to say. It was only until she found the bank note, she realized she had messed up. From that point, she realized his sincere love for her, and she had to take the steps to reconcile the relationship. GQF was always there waiting for her.
All of the rational talk from Pan'er to GQF was not getting through. For GQF it clicked for him on how much suffering Pan'er is in when she confesses that she thought about suicide over him. Finally, Pan'er gets him to think with his heart when she starts counting down. He doesn't have the time to think anymore and goes with his feelings.
Pan'er is the one who has to force GQF into her world, under the guise of saying she's giving him a chance. He's the one that needs convincing not vice versa. She knew what he had done for her, and how she misunderstood. That's why we are reminded so many times of her throwing away her pride. Only then will GQF truly understand that Pan'er has made up her mind. Only GQF knows how prideful Pan'er is and what it means for her to drop it.
If there was any doubt on either party, moving forward they won't doubt each other anymore. I was more upset with Pan'er than GQF. She redeemed herself in the end though.

Yes... It's pretty bad. Since the most enjoyable scenes is when the leads flirt and bicker. There are episodes where they don't meet at all. Although they are not broken up in 27, they do not meet. This drags on to episode 32 where they have a chance to meet, but don't. At that point the misunderstand is at full force. Very little screen time with our leads.
IMO, it's out of character for what they built for the first half of the series between our leads. The breakup…
It fell into typical cdrama land. First half good, then just wtf 2nd half. I still enjoyed it but not as much.
To go with the stories logic, it's an imperial order. It needed to be hush hush. But what about when you told her about the Night Revels? O she knew about that because the plot needed it. But later when he has to be an envoy, the plot is like we'll he can't talk about that. Can't even communicate he's leaving and is fine. And coincidently Chen Lian leaves after a fight so he's not there to mediate. Literally everything goes wrong. And the thing is he told her his relationship with the Xiao family is complicated and she said she would wait. But then does a 180 on him? And can't wait for him to give her a response? They made GQF into a bitch when it wasn't needed.
WRTW also rubbed me wrong. ML just drops all his ambition. Love is more important. Well you can't do both?
I get it though time constraints with the 40 episode caps.
I honestly thought ADOS would get around the tropes, but nope.

Rant. I kept wondering why she kept bringing up the fact that she wouldn't face her, when he was in the carraige. We don't find out that she thought about suicide until they reconcile. We know she was super hurt. She was just super scared about his well being, and he doesn't have the guts to see her. Still, if she was that afraid, why not just confront him, now that he's shown up? Not logical. Easily if she asked, he could've told her he was really away for official business and the situation with the Xiao family. And when he tries to see her, she just refuses him... Like okay. Anyways rant over.
The thing is IMO she was the one who abandoned him first due to the misunderstanding. She should be the one ultimately to reconcile the relationship. Which she did, so I'm glad about that part. During the reconciliation, she knew she had fucked up. He never abandoned her, it was just all in her mind. She caused the drama. He had his circumstances, but she just couldn't get over her own insecurities and pride to actually listen. Yes, I know she had it rough, while he was gone, but the monies was always there. He kept to his word the whole time. That's why it was right for her put everything on the line to get GQF to be with her, disguised as her giving a chance to him. In the end it was GQF once again keeping his promise, to not abandon her.
Asking for spoilers: When does lead get together, is there any breakup and if there is how long does it last and…
Key moments.
Ep14 FL realizes she has feelings for ML. Ep15 FL confronts ML about their ambiguous relationship. Ep17 ML confesses to FL. They are officially together.
There is a breakup. It's due to a misunderstanding and blood feud. Trouble in paradise starts at Ep27 and their relationship gets worse with each Ep. Reconciliation begins on Ep35 (misunderstanding cleared) and they are back together again Ep36 (blood feud cleared).
There is no love triangle. The leads only love each other. However, FL has an ex-fiance. Although, it's hinted that she never fully trusted him.
It’s time, I am going in….to prepare myself adequately, how angry will I be during eps 28-37? I already have…
IMO, it's out of character for what they built for the first half of the series between our leads. The breakup is relatively well done though. You know how the misunderstanding will end before we get there. The leads only think about each other during the seperation. It's obvious FL is still in love with ML and vice versa. Even when the FL is upset with the ML, she still talks relatively highly of him and protects him. ML has the case of I can't face her and tell her the truth trope. The reconciliation episodes are 35-36, and the scene is beautiful but I hated the fact that they broke up in the first place. It makes sense why the FL is so upset, when she reveals her thoughts in episode 36, but again could've all been avoided. It was an unnecessary trope. If ML just told FL in the first place, the breakup would not last as long as it did.
Will you be watching Love Like the Galaxy? Prayers it will come out very soon. All those bts they've been dropping…
At least it will be 2 parts so probably won't be rushed like WRTW. Last episodes of WRTW kind of took a nose dive. And that ending... Didn't hit the spot for me. If they had a couple more episodes they probably could've shown the ML getting back his powers and rule the world. Time skip and then he can retire with FL. Just giving up his ambition was yikes.
He returns in episode 36. He continues to be a brat. He is lazy and just likes to play and eat. He catches his mom with ChangFeng being intimate one day and gets jealous and starts calling her names for the whole world to hear. He gets shoved into the river by Yinzhang and gets scolded for being ungrateful. Mom and ChangFeng also lecture him. After reflecting he returns home and apologizes to his mom. The two reconcile. Presumbly he behaves better after that.
No. I don't think they are officially married at this point. It's like calling your fiancé husband/wife before…
He is just playing the game of politics. He's going to do whatever suits him best. If he needs to team up with Uncle he will. If he needs to team up with GQF's father he will. If he needs to protect GQF he will. He is your typical snake politician. There is no loyalty with him. Just the greed of man.
