What did Pan'er read? Is she just getting information on what GQF's father did to hers?
Cool. Yep. That's kind of what I gathered. It's understanble for both sides. I don't think there was anything insidious. I always argued that there isn't always right/wrong...just sides.
What did Pan'er read? Is she just getting information on what GQF's father did to hers?
Just asking for your opinion here. With the little but of information we have. Are they implying that Pan'er's father was the one arguably at fault first? I guess it depend on which camp and both sides could be argued reasonably. I'm aware that GQF's father was just following the law. But still what is your opinion?
What did Pan'er read? Is she just getting information on what GQF's father did to hers?
Speculation:
Pan'er finally discovers the hidden bank note in episode 35 and GQF also leaves a yellow flower. Pan'er finally realizes GQF never abandoned her. While out enjoying the festivities, Chi Pan/Pan'er probably notices GQF and Pan'er sets off to look for him on the bridge. GQF finds Pan'er and takes her away. When they meet up they talk some stuff out including the mentioning of the blood feud. Pan'er looks it up in the following episode after she gets real feels back for GQF. She never stopped loving him. In 36 she realizes the facts she had on her father were wrong. The timing of what her father did is extremely important in history. The difference between "right/wrong". Her father was objectively a criminal at that time and GQF's father was justified in the harsh punishment dealth to the Zhao family.
Ends the misunderstanding drama between GQF and Pan'er.
What did Pan'er read? Is she just getting information on what GQF's father did to hers?
If I'm understanding the deeper meaning in the preview. It seems that Pan'er got the date of her father's "crimes" wrong by a year. I think she fully understands the ramifications of what her father did, and the justifiable actions of GQF's father at that time. I think the whole time she kept believing that her father was screwed over for doing the right thing. But it wasn't that simple.
What did Pan'er read? Is she just getting information on what GQF's father did to hers?
Thanks. I'll give it a go. They key here is now Pan'er knows. GQF already knew about the blood fued, but had trouble figuring out what to do. At that point Pan'er was already ignorining him. Now she has the news and has to reconcile her feelings. Our leads suffering because of their parents. Ooff. She probably forgives GQF right after. Too bad he's going to be MIA.
oh forgot to mention tencent is gonna show the last 8 episodes earlier for some paid members on the 26th so there…
I heard this too. Was it only for China or the rest of us will have access? I don't want to wait another week. If it gets out this week I'm finding it.
Why did they bring Zhaodi's pathetic mother into the storyline in ep 27 and 28? Why is Ouyang hanging around still?…
I dunno about the mom thing. Don't think Pan'er finds the money and thinks GQF abandoned her. I don't think they'll meet up again for awhile. Like until GQF is done with his official business. GQF never realized she didn't get the money. Everytime he goes back for the chat he doesn't get to see her. Later after her teahouse is destroyed she just collabs with Chi Pan to open a restaurant. She'll probably find the bank note GQF left her after everything. Then realize her mistake.
Ouyang just there to bring the final challenge to GQF and Pan'er. Since the fucker actually had the painting the whole time and discovered the secret within. One of the reasons Pan'er wanted to stay was to wait for his return to end him. She'll do just that. Pan'er literally destroyed all of Ouyang's prospects.
After watching the new trailers I honestly don't think she's a lost princess. I think the emperor reacted that…
I never once thought the Emperor was into her that way. I just felt it was to show off how well Pan'er is doing. She even got the respect of the Emperor. There is a rumor floating around that she might be the Emperor's long last daughter. So like the Emperor is surprised, cause she looks like her mom. I dunno. Kind of a stretch.
There was happy music in the background and both Pan'er and Yinzhang realized it was the Emperor. It's just a big compliment.
He finds the report on what CSO did to Pan'er's family. It looks like Pan'er's father was charged for going against…
Exactly my thoughts on the writing. I had a rant post on how they could've fixed ep 28. Literally everyone has a misunderstanding that feels forced and uncharacteristic.
I know he leaves a flower post breakup but still. Come on.
Most Chinese dramas seem to go downhill after a while....ep 27/28 physically destroyed me, and the new previews…
I don't think there will be a concubine arc. I don't see it happening. I think he legit just there just to show how good Pan'er's restaurant is. It's a great honor to have him there. Might lead to a conferred title.
They really didn't need that miscommunication. I get the writer is like GQF's world was built on a lie and he's confused, but I'm disappointed in him. Yes it is very human, but ugh. And I guess it shows even those that seem powerful can be vulnerable, but ugh. GQF leaving on Official business and him being captured or thinking he might be dead is less soul crushing.
I can't enjoy the episodes until i know they are back together. That's just me.
With how it currently is, at least I'm looking for the payout when Pan'er realizes he gave her the money all along and was like I messed up. It drags for awhile though. Still I'm 99 percent certain it'll be a happy ending.
It's the emperor. So it's a big compliment with just him being there. That's why they are so shocked. It's going…
O I agree with you. The thing is the director/scriptwriter is trying to go full circle. The theme would probably be seizing the moment. A single mis-step can lead to an eternity of pain. OX messed up by forsaking Pan'er. Everything after was just pain for him. GQF had the ability to just speak to Pan'er about everything that just happened. But he hesistated cause his mind is all jumbled up. That hesistation lead to a huge misunderstanding. By the time he realized he wanted to go back to talk with her, it was already too late. It just continues to death spiral from there.
Alright. I need to do this. Let me fix ep 28. GQF gives the bank note to Chen Lian (who doesn't just randomly leaves the Capital after a squabble), who gives it to Pan'er. Chen Lian let's her know GQF needs to leave on Official business and will visit when he returns. GQF still can't face her and needs to sort out his resolve (yes again). Before leaving GQF leaves a yellow flower. Pan'er opens the restaurant and patiently waits for GQF.
There is no uncharacteristic, forced misunderstanding.
Everything else happens as normal. Pan'er doesn't have GQF's support and is alone until he gets back. Making a business decision she decides to collaborate with Chi Pan. Story goes on how Pan'er and new friends becomes successful while GQF is away doing his thing.
Rant: Seriously though, how is there the flower thing, the healthy conversation, trust, sharing the burden and all that just gone out the window? And all the sudden fate, which brought them together, is now against them? How can so much go wrong? Cause reasons...I guess.

Bruh/sis... freaking GQF put a freaking vase on it, blocked the freaking window and it still knocked over. The Gods doing them dirty. Zhaodi why you no check the papers. What if Pan'er went to open the window instead. Ugh. I didn't think the misunderstanding would be like this, but I'm kind of ok with it, since I see how Pan'er is going to realize she done fucked up for not believing in him. GQF fucked up for not communicating and just deuces. It's a fluster cuck in these two episodes. Everything that can go wrong does.

Just my opinion.
