Up to ep 18 and so over the postponing of the wedding and back and forth between the main leads, the FL is quite a narcissist and overconfident with these princes shes not that pretty.
Cant help but feel for third prince, she moved on prety fast for a childhood sweetheart and hes so damn fine looking though the ml might not be as dashing hes a real Man, love that he dosent drink.
A love triangle is when one person loves two people at the same time. She certainly didn't love Prince Jin, she hated him. He was pure filth. The dumbest King Ive ever watched in a drama.
Re-watched; first watched it in 2021 and fell in love with ML. All I will say is Judge Shin must be the most disillusioned character I have ever watched lols
Lee Seo Jin I would class as the most handsome prince/king in all K-drama historicals. always so handsomely dressed, beautiful colours. The way he looked at his beloved Yeon was so deeply in love with her, was cute to see him talk his feelings awkwardly with her and be shy lol
Though I have to have a giggle watching the eunuchs and the palace maids racing from one area to another, all spying on one another my gosh lol who needed cellphones in their day, their messaging is way faster lol but there''s one confusing part is how on earth with all that spying did they not see all those officers, queen, and princess having all those meetings? Must admit though, even though she was the sweetest and most genuine queen Ive ever watched in a historical, she let anybody and everybody talk down to her. The queen dowager is such a bitch who just like everyone ele who gains power become evil like the right-hand man of the King who did way worse evil than the princess's son. That palace ruined those two sweet innocent and pure children Song-yeon and Dae-su.
Awesome crime drama, though one thing irks me is how the killer managed to do all that to a prisoner without other officers around and that detective can be so dumb at times lol ML is a better cop than him lol
happens in real life too. I was too nice to my ex and treated him like a king so he thought he could secretly…
One fan asked me to prove that there are cheating men in Chinese dramas, and I thought, what the heck? But then he clarified he meant Chinese historicals. Back then, having concubines was allowed, so I guess you couldn’t really call it cheating, but I would have hated to live in that era.
He left FL because she was too nice to him, giving him everything, and he refused to live in a house that her parents helped pay the deposit for. He even scolded her for calling his mother about her health. Now he’s basically living off his new girlfriend, who’s paid for his sick mother’s care, yet she can’t be bothered to meet her. Honestly, I think he’s going to regret leaving FL because he’s turned into an even more pitiful excuse of a man than before.
