Up to Episode 30 and omg so refreshing to have no jealous noble women chasing the ML competing with FL as yet. Half-expecting the emperor to betroth him by decree but 10 episodes left hmmmm fingers crossed.

That was my very first kdrama that got me hooked 4 years ago, it broke me. i then watched Iris and every drama of the ML, then Empress Ki and that mde me sob in last few episodes.

I haven’t read the novel, and yes, there were feminine-looking guys back then, but all her actions seem too feminine—how she holds him when he’s carrying her, her voice doesn’t resemble a typical male voice, and her wooziness feels overly female-like. I asked my son to watch it without knowing the story, and it didn’t take long before he asked if it was about a female pretending to be a male. You can even see the outline of a female chest, for goodness sake; other gender-benders have not been this reckless and obvious. Totally unrealistic.

Worst female living as a male FL ever, way too feminine and so unrealistic with such a tiny body expected to be as fierce as made out to be. Whoever cast the FL is mocking our intelligence; they don't make any effort whatsoever to give her any masculine acting whatsoever, female voice, smile, facials, flirting, omg, whatever. !!!!!

Ive just finished Princess Gambit, its pretty ok if you havent watched it already. Rebel Princess also I highly recommend. I love historicals but not too hot on wuxia.

OMG, the princess Junior is so narcissistic and up herself, she is not even remotely pretty. Who on earth would be attracted to such a vile, cruel mouth as hers??? AAAND hy dont they have lookouts outside the doors when trying to be secretive????? AAAND cant the daughters get a break??? All their betrothed or husbands have turned out the most evil men!!!! BUT I so love the older brother and her father, they are soooo funny!!! My best part of the drama was when they both found out from Mr Zhen that ML was the seventh prince, sooooo fuuunnyyy!!!!!

She is doing my head in, I hate how she approaches him for help, then tells him in the same conversation when he asks questions, that it is not his concern. I would kick her to the kerb if I were him. Yes, she lived a horrible life, but it is not her place to use and manipulate people to survive. A lot of her grief is self-inflicted. She saves her maid, then sends her on an exhausting, dangerous trip (without a horse, mind you), hundreds of miles away to look for her brother! I am only watching for the good prince, the chancellor and his sister; everyone is too evil or bad acting.
