I understand. I guess Young Royals are better anyway. And I forgot to add the movie Maurice (from the year 1987) by the same director as Call Me By Your Name to my recommendations.

You're welcome. It would be interesting to see Nadya as a man. I guess producers don't want to show effeminate guys other than as comic characters. The only exceptions I remember are Secret Crush on You And My Only 12%. But I did not like these shows for other reasons. Young Royals are unbeatable anyway. And many people also adore Heartstopper but I haven't watched it yet. It looks very promising based on the clips though. And SKAM France, season 3.

My Ride had an interesting idea and the actor who played the motorcycle rider was cute, I just hated that the couple had such a slow development because the doctor wasn't able to dump the other doctor although he was unfaithful to him. And the Korean-style kisses pissed me, too. I did not know it was written by a gay couple. It's true that the relationship od the main couple was very equal and healthy. And the uncles were interesting, too. It was refreshing to see an elderly gay couple. I dropped Dark Blue Kiss in the first episode because I did not like that the guy was kinda intimidated by his boyfriend. The relationship in Bad Buddy was healthy but I did not feel the couple's chemistry. They were more like buddies, indeed. But I appreciated the hint of switching. If you wanna know what I liked, you can check my watchlist. We may have a different taste but that's OK. Thank you for the recommendations! In fact, I really recommend you to watch Young Royals by Netflix. It's in fact much better than all Asian BL shows (no hate - it is probabably partially thanks to a bigger budget and also the fact it is culturally closer to us). And Call Me By Your Name. But you probably already watched it.
I'm so glad lately there's more characters in BLs openly saying "I'm bisexual" I feel like there hasn't been many…
It's good that they talk about their sexuality (so at least they admit they are attracted to boys in general, not only to the one) but I would appreciate more "I'm gay" confessions. I have a feeling that almost everyone in BL shows is bisexual or at least dated girls. Maybe the producers think that being only into men is a shame. It also looks weird to me when there's a guy who dated only girls, then he falls for a guy and does not have any existential crisis from that (but this drama is not the case).

Yes! Switch couples! I saw it only in Gameboys and Cornered Mouse Dreams of Cheese. I haven't read the KinnPorsche novel, just heard parts of the plot and I'm glad they changed The VegasPete story. Actualy, I liked it there. What I did not like was the fact that almost every character killed several people (including innocent ones), so it was hard for me to sympathize with them. But what annoyed me even more was the fact the characters, namely the bodyguards often acted like teenage girls. It was visible that it was written by someone who does not understand the way men think. Even Porsche was very childish.
Wait, you say there was an NC scene already? Isn't it too early? As I remember, they got close much later in UMWA. (I intend to binge-watch the series after it finishes airing, I just want a spoiler).
depends on what level of intimacy you want. There is, but it's not as heated as something like love in the air
If you want good intimate scenes, then watch TharnType, Don't Say No (both are from the same writer as love in the Air), KinnPorsche, Why R U, CutiePie and Manner of Death.

Wonderful analysis! I really liked the relationship dynamic of the main couple in KinnPorsche, that was different. I hope there will be more BL shows like that (prefferably without the mafia aspect). In fact, it is in Fahlanruk, too, that's why I watch it although it's bad at other aspects. Love Mechanics and Manner of Death are also exceptions.
I come here to check how many EPs still tell the end and I end up reading comments instead ... sounds like this…
I recommend to make your own opinion based on watching it. For me, it is not the best show ever but still worth watching. But people have various tastes. It also depends if you have other things to watch that look more promising or other interesting things to do. It is not a must-watch, definitely. And if you are info very romantic and sweet stuff, it probably will not be your cup of tea.
The only thing sort of realistic about this series is that most young college boys really are horny all the time…
I kinda agree but you can't expect from a romantic series to imply the relationship won't last. It's still more realistic than most BL series because the main characters are not too sweet with each other and there is no moving speech before every sex.
Just the reason of misunderstanding here was a boy, not a girl. I hope they will not complete the terrible act on Sky in the next episode. I don't want to see him suffer so much.
Not the best BL drama ever but I like that it doesn't take itself too seriously. I always cringe when it happens in a BL show, like in A Tale of Thousand Stars (sorry). I just don't get why the writers often portray buttoms as characters that suck at everything they do, so they need someone to "save" them.
