It is rather the dynamics of their relationship that makes me feel unconfortable. But I agree that looking like a father and his son does not help it. Anyway, in Y-Destiny, they had different hairstyles and clothing styles and surprisingly looked natural as a couple (although the story itself was stupid). It was probably also because there was not so much dominant/submissive dynamics within the couple, the characters were different. So, it depends on the script, styling and other factors, as well.
