is this drama worthy to watch? after reading many comments i am sacred to watch this drama?
It's hard to tell, it depends on your personal taste. But I recommend to give it a try at least, you can drop it any time. For me, it is definitely worth watching, some things in the series could have been done better (e. g. the way they handle Uea's traumas) but I still enjoy it overall and I wait for every episode impatiently. I think this drama is more intelligent than the majority of BL shows. Anyway, what I like the most about it is the chemistry between the leads and Net's acting and charisma/visuals.
Soo I wonder if there is more to the story with King. We know he doesn't like going back home for some reason.…
I'm afraid that King's mom is not ideal either. Maybe she is threating King that if he doesn't go to that date, she will cut ties with him or something like that. He is usually very caring towards Uea, I'm sure he wouldn't do it if he wasn't forced to, moreover when he had already planned the holiday with Uea. Maybe King's motivation is described in the novel but I haven't read it. Anyway, Uea should have been honest with King and tell him he did not want him to go on that date and not have supposed that King would read his mind and find out Uea did not want him to go there. King still doesn't know if their relationship is important to Uea because Uea is quite cool towards him (when they are not having sex). On the other hand, King could have explained to Uea why he had to go on that date. It's also possible that he did it only to make Uea jealous and to make him realize his feelings towards King but I hope it's not the case because it would be quite cruel. I wholehartedly agree with the last sentence of your comment.
Do you think they had shot all the 10 episodes before the series started airing and just kept it a secret so that they could surprise the audience or that they decided to add those two more episodes during the series' airing after they saw the show was quite succesful and they are shooting them now? If so, they will probably be more like special episodes.
How was this allowed to air but not all those other censored-BL dramas banned after Word of Honor? Mindblown.
I heard this was possible only because it was made exclusively for foreign audience and did not air in China (but I'm sure many Chinese people used VPN to be able to watch it).
Is it worth to watch? (I'm not an actor bias person so I care about the story and script more than everything…
Everybody has a different taste but I really like it. You should give it a try. It's true that what I enjoy the most about it is the actors' chemistry but the plot isn't stupid IMO. It's about learning not to be afraid to trust in love again after getting hurt and allowing yourself to succumb to your desire.
Mostly enjoyable, I just don't like how they made Jade such a childish character. I'm scared how Middleman's Love will be. I like that Uea has a backbone (unlike most bottoms in BL dramas).
I keep avoiding the trailer. Im excited to watch but super worried about being disappointed. So many BLs hold…
The trailer looks very promising. But you are right that many BL dramas had a good trailer and then turned out to be disappointing, e. g. Big Dragon or Never Let Me Go. I want to believe this won't be the case. I really need it to be good to heal my trauma from watching I Will Knock You and other shitty dramas. It looks like there will be many NC scenes, so at least there will not be enough space to f*ck up the lot. Also, I appreciate that the "bottom" does not seem to be weak or childish according to the trailer.
I wholehartedly agree with the last sentence of your comment.
