Yes, but also Gawin has already worked both with TayNew for Dark Blue Kiss and with OffGun in Not Me, both times as one of the second couple. This may be his first leading role but he has been in the industry for years already. Also I really think both Krist and Gawin feel lucky to have starred against each other because they really bonded. Be My Favorite wouldn't have been what it is without them giving their all and just getting along so well. At this point I think they really want to stick together and it's not for exposure's sake

I would categorize the whole scene more as dub-con than non-con as a whole. Because while it is true that Porsche was drugged, he was still aware of his surroundings and of what he was doing, who he was with. Would he still have done the same even if drugs were not involved? From what we have seen of his character the answer would probably be yes. I would argue that drugs only lowered his inibitions.

Wow not to be negative but fictional characters have been created to give life lessons, otherwise why would we have fairytales? Not that they should be always moral but making it seem like watching TV is just for fun does limit the scope of the medium. Even if we are talking about BL. It's not the case of Cutie Pie for sure where you can only mindless watch because the characters have no consistent development, but there are lots of BL that want to leave their sign in the audience mind.

It all depends on what is the focus of the translation and the translator. Is it the target language or the source language? These are the two different approach translators can use in their job. Unfortunately, for the most part translation in English is target oriented meaning they will only go focus on transmitting the message across, leaving behind any cultural references of the source language in the original text. This limits the enjoyment of the different ways the source language express its culture through the text, also nuances go missing. Cancelling all signs of cultural difference is not really the best way, but it has been the standard for a lot of translators of the past. Nowadays things are changing in academia but it will take some time for the practice to arrive at the same poiw

I dropped it after the 1st part of the 1st episode because I found it too cringey. But I really saw good reviews and I decided to continue watching it. Right now I love it and I am not the person to love something easily. I don't know how to explain it but below all the cringe there is something so heartwarming about this show. And while the beginning may not seem like real representation as you continue watching, if you do, you will find in reality it really has some of the best

I would have dropped it if the 2 first episode didn't have a really good premise. I admit I was really intereseted and I was waiting to see where they would take the story. Short answer: nowehere, at least for me. So I kept waiting for the story to develop and so I am still watching, but now it is just for the same reason I listen to Catholic radio, to get the answer to the question just how far are they going to push this nonsene

Sorry to jump in, but I am sorry to say the plot is not GOOD. The characters' behaviour and actions do not make any kind of sense especially Nuea and Lian. Good cinematography does not make this show good as well as the explicit scenes. Just to make this episode bearable I had to put it at 1.5x because the pacing and direction is too damn slow. You can enjoy this series all you want but if you want to talk about masterpiec this is not it. This is just a mess with nothing bwith a good package

Unfortunately only episode 1 and later makes it seem like Kuea is not innocent and naive, after it is just a slippery slope towards bland and timid. I had hopes based in the 1st episode too

I'm just on episode 7, but it will really cleanse your soul.

PS. This is really what a wholesome relationship is like. (it is the complete opposite of a certain popular show which is airing right now)
