Same. I thought a lot happened in episode 20, but at the same time nothing happened at all. lol The introduction of the new characters was a little bit chaotic imo.

I really do think the green thing was a memory retaining pill. I guess Luming lied because Ying Yuan is going to the mortal realm on a secret mission. Unfortunately, it got destroyed before he could take it.

Also... THE HAIRPIN! 😭

It was refreshing to see carefree Yan Dan again. She's the cutest! However, episodes 19-20 felt a bit too slow for me. Looking forward to seeing Tang Zhou spice things up in the next episodes. 😍 Oh, and Pei Luo will probably get too greedy. Poor Jiangchen​ !

Oh, and Yumo is pure and innocent, just a good boy. In the drama, the love triangle is almost inexistent imo. Yumo's feelings are extremely one-sided and he knows that. Plus, the drama is focusing more on the undying/sacrificial love between Yan Dan and Ying Yuan than anything else.

I think xianxia dramas tend to have the same cliché storylines: demons vs. deities; unconditional/eternal/undying/sacrificial love; cycles of reincarnation (samsara); love and redemption... the list goes on. So, Immortal Samsara is similar to a lot of xianxia dramas out there because of that. But I think it is pretty good and I'm enjoying it so far.

I'm really enjoying it so far. I think it's better than Ashes of love, because it doesn't waste too much time focusing on uninteresting side characters backstories. In my opinion, IS is as good as Love and Redemption.

He wasn't being dubbed at all. 😩 I got excited for a while there, because I believed they would keep his real voice for once. I really dislike dubbing.

After watching the episode again, I really think that making her forget about him was the sacrifice he made, because the last thing he says is, "You have forgotten about everything. But I... will never be able to forget them."

I watched it again... I really can't tell what that green thing is. Maybe it is something that will bring consequences later on.

Plus, his voice isn't dubbed in TLT2. But I didn't like that drama much. I just watched Cheng Yi's scenes tbh. 🤣​

It wasn't explained clearly, but I think that since he loved her, forcibly erasing her memories of him was some sort of sacrifice. And wasn't the green thing the bug that obnoxious lamp had sent to spy on them? It didn't fall into the pond though. It just flew away.

I got it just fine. Spiritual core, divine spirit, primordial spirit are different terms to name basically the same thing. In this context, primordial spirit would fit better though. Anyway, we were just speculating over whether Ying Yuan is going to lose his memories.
