That bracelet is always a step ahead compared to TQ. Every time he is coming close to the truth, the bracelet does its thing with expanding on its abilities. It makes me so curious how sentient this bracelet is because I don't think these upgrades are random. Especially when during upgrades, SCC ends up stuck in who she transformed into for a bit which ended up prolonging her interactions with TQ. 🤔

It was shown before that SCC couldn't take off that bracelet (unless a potential upgrade allowed her to now). I think it is more likely she can project transformations onto other people via the 3D creation or it is a new upgrade that now allows her to clone. The theory right now going on C-side is that SCC transformed LY into QST.

There is also this preview clip with a grandma but people can't even begin to guess who is who at this point just based on these clips LMAO.

There were a bunch of moments during their school days (and we will see more and more as the episodes progresses) that led to him thinking she was a school bully and that she hated him. 😭 In addition, they were not classmates, just schoolmates (TQ is older than SCC) so there weren't really more chances back then for TQ to change his mind about her. SCC didn't even realize TQ would remember her.

The reunion scene was about her make-up because he is a chemist, and he meant the non-waterproof make-up is bad but the later comments he made about her were about his perceived idea of her personality and behavior.

LOL I don't disagree. Of all the SCCs, she is probably the "weakest", but her role is more for a comedic purpose (aka no emotional attachment to TQ from her POV), so I don't think it took me out from the viewing experience. Alpaca onward is more of the emotional aspect so I think that is when we start really seeing the depth of the transformations and better actresses/actors took over like Pu Tao.

It is amazing because some drama already has issues with just 2 actresses/actors acting the same person and making them so different, but every single SCC has just been SCC. There is really nothing major to nitpick on to make viewers think TQ really is falling for someone /different/. This was hard to do and they really all pulled it off.

You will come to love TQ a lot if you continue on with the drama LOL. You feel really bad for him too. 😂

I do love a messy "break-up"! 👀 I can't wait to see how they can resolve this because I know it won't be simple writing for sure. But I really don't think the angry/pain will last that long from his side because there are other upcoming plots lmao.

Yup, plus it can be one of those red herrings too. This drama is so unexpected that I don't think this drama will just write her as some horrible villain who loses everything. 👀

I think she is someone who has ambition in her job. Like what she is doing is shady but at the same time from her POV, you got this nepo baby coming in, taking all these sick leaves, potentially dating the boss, and gaining these achievements while you work as hard but felt like you aren't as acknowledged. It makes sense why she wants to jump ship to another company and use any leverage that she can. I do wonder how this drama will continue with her character because I don't think they will just write her off fully after this.

Idk if he even knows the "truth" though (aka she got a magical bracelet LOL), I think he thinks SCC is playing around with his feelings. But I am so excited hehe, I love a blackening arc for a character, but I know he won't be able to stay mad for long. This man is already in too deep, and it is likely that by this point, he had enough interactions with SCC as SCC to fall for her as /her/ at this point.

Exactly, part of the reason why this became so complicated is because TQ kept on falling for /her/. SCC doing her transformations doesn't really have anything to do with TQ, but TQ became that unexpected element that kept on popping up and falling for her. It became more lies to cover up original lies to cover her own tracks.

Feelings became involved which makes this entire thing complicated especially when their actual relationship with each other is not even a friendship at this point. They are more than strangers but less than friends.

Their first step before even beginning anything will have to be TQ finding out the truth and deciding how to proceed. But honestly, he is already too deep into his feelings for her. He did really only be truly mad if she was actually playing him on purpose.

I think it did upgrade again. Or maybe 3D creation means it can be created onto "other people", so it is still Filter 3.0. I saw a clip with an older lady too but not sure which is SCC in those previews omg. TQ looking really mad though (probably thought SCC was playing him all along) and likely because he really fell for her as /her/ this time.

That is objectively not true because one of the reasons why these other actresses/actors seem like SCC is because LLD helped them to morph their acting like hers to make sure it is seamless. SM's actress also has some issue with her diction but Pu Tao (the one acting as FJ) is great. If you have seen "In Blossom", you will know what non-consistent acting is when the actresses don't act in a similar way and don't consider the character itself to the point that switching faces makes them two different people. LLD understood her character and created quirks for SCC that was translated for the other actresses/actor to adapt.

LLD in episode 15 alone demonstrated why she is considered one of the top actresses in her age group. There is really no debating about this on the C-side.

Tencent probably has all these other dramas lined up that they need to pump out so just drop this drama in the midst of the other two. Tencent has their own investment so this drama even if it doesn't get attention won't really bother them especially because TJC has a big fanbase, so they know they did get money from fans alone (hence the lack of promo from their side compared to dramas they /really/ care about).

Bilibili actually torn FF apart. FF as a whole has a lot of plot/logic problems and they really dislike the way FL was adapted in the drama. FF will always be popular as it is a famous IP, association with HL, and Youku put their work in with getting it promoted. Even back when the rumors of who did be casted is circulating, those posts had millions of views and discussions. However, non-fans on C-side actually don't think it is a quality drama hence also why the rating on Douban is around 5.5 (?) the last I checked. I-fans here might eat it up but tbh, a lot of the idol romance dramas that fans here really like doesn't have positive reception back in China especially the ones starring these traffic stars.

TBT seems to be a cute drama, but I think most ppl clock it that you are in it for the visual and shipping. They do appreciate that more attention was being pay to the tradition Chinese medicine aspect, but the main purpose of that drama is to sell you a ship. Which isn't really a problem but when ppl compares it to say Filter, they feel it lacks an overall message.

Filter's "downside" for some people is because they didn't go straight into focusing on the ship (but that is also a plus for many people). SCC also isn't meant to be a beautiful girl so compared to like FF's and TBT's FLs where they got their full-blown hair and better outfits, it is easier for people to focus on their visuals and ship them with their 180+ cm MLs. I do think Filter will stand the test of time though and it is already being considered as a dark horse drama because people thought the drama would only be "crazy" and didn't expect much from the romance department, but it is heating up.

For people wondering why SCC will probably never tell TQ the secret unless actively pushed by TQ, here are my own thoughts + thoughts from C-platforms:

The only time SCC told someone about the bracelet willing is LY. LY because she is her bestie and who SCC knows she can rely on and trust. SQL threatened SCC and that's how she found out next while the real FJ was due to the transformation being her.

At this point in time, SCC doesn't see TQ's falling in love have anything to do with /her/. She has also shut off her own feelings for him. So, one that hand, it makes no sense to tell him because what is she going to say, yeah btw, I am this transformation, and that transformation so fall in love with me too? Or yeah so, I am this transformation, and that transformation so don't feel bad since "they" are "me", so they are technically still alive and well? SCC knows now that TQ values SM/FJ so in her POV, it is better for them to be ppl who existed/memories for TQ and hide herself from him forever.

In addition, SCC's and TQ's relationship is co-worker + boss/employee, as SCC herself, TQ saw her originally as someone scary/lazy (as they didn't have many interactions when SCC was herself), then someone hard-working, then someone fragile (since she was taking sick leave for her transformations). TQ really only started approaching SCC willing because of his current vision problems. From SCC's POV, she is clocking that there might be something wrong with TQ and feels guilty so wants to help him. Basically, their relationship at the moment is not even friends.

From SCC's POV, her seeing TQ falling in love with these transformations makes her think it can never be /her/. So, her exposing herself just to be rejected is not something she will do. Plus, her feelings at this moment are "turned off" though like LLD said, SCC always had a seed of liking for TQ. She is just good at suppressing it and not let it bloom. Therefore, she will keep on covering up her tracks to make sure this secret doesn't get revealed to him. Their relationship at the moment is too "fragile" and close to non-existent for SCC to let him on the secret.

Another point some people made jokingly was that TQ is too logical/scientific and who knows if he did try to dissect SCC for his experiments. 😂

C-viewers have analyzed and figured out the point of SCC's 3 "big human transformations":

SM - Beauty
FJ - Intelligence/education
QST - Gender

Love had nothing to do with these qualities. It wasn't these reasons why TQ fell for SCC. 🥹
