Why do I fell like I’m being torture watching this show?

Yep, but we all know that Xiaomi didn’t really like Dinghao. They never really dated outside the show. They “tried,” but it never worked out.

Honestly, I don’t see any spark between Hewen and Xiaoyu. As for Xilun and Yuer, it’s really hard to tell because she’s all smiles with him, but the difference in how she responds to Hewen is still huge.

I just saw a trailer that we can clearly hear Xilun saying“I don’t regret falling for you” and Hewen sayin “I want to hold you hand and walk into the future with you”… I mean specifically Xilun’s words sound like a confession without hope, and let’s be honest, he will only like Yuer in the show.
Hewen it’s a little bit tricky, but I still believe it’s about Yuer.

Hewen needs to get some advice from him. His best mate is Yuyang, and let's be honest, he's not exactly the most socially skilled guy on the show.

100% agree with you. Their problems are so easy to resolve. Yue'er just needs a few words from him, and she's going to melt like ice cream.
But the longer it takes for them to do that, the deeper their connections with their second choices become, and that's when things can get really messy. Because we, as the audience, know they like each other and are keeping the other people as "options."
Resolving this will inevitably result in heartbreak. Whether it's going to be their own or the others', we'll have to wait and see.

I don't think your timeline is right. He chose Yue'er for the starry date after Xiaoyu came into the picture. I think he stepped back after that, and that's 100% Yue'er's fault.
But yes, I agree that he's affected by the way Yue'er interacts with Xilun. The thing is, she made it clear to him that she's completely affected by his actions too. If he doesn't step up and become more proactive, I don't see a future for these two.

We think differently on some aspects. To me, the guy should do the chasing. I guess I'm a bit "conservative" in that sense, so I understand Yue'er.
But at the same time, I agree with you that for them to work, they need to let go of their fears and egos. Honestly, I don't see that happening. Realistically, you don't change something so deeply rooted in just a few weeks.
I also agree that Hewen is more compatible with Xiaoyu, but I'm still waiting for the spark... Their date was nice and everything, but the difference is still huge.
As for Yue'er and Xilun, I don't like him, and I like him even less after today's episode. If it weren't for Kaiyi, he probably would've stayed by the door, waiting like a doorman until his presence was noticed. I really don't like his behavior. People in the house are noticing it too, especially Bohan and Kaiyi.

Totally agree with you. Both seem more comfortable with their second choices. But so far, I can't see any spark or even any real romantic interest. They both feel more friendly than romantic, and Xiaoyu and Hewen especially give me big sister/little brother energy...
But anything can happen. Love can bloom out of comfort too!

Why the aggressiveness? Why use comparisons to support your argument? He can do whatever he wants, and I can still feel uncomfortable about it. Please, touch grass before coming at people so hard over a TV show.

I think they're more at fault for the lack of communication. BUT, and it's a BIG but, Xilun is a little too much. He monopolizes her. Even when she asks Hewen for something, like in the kitchen scene, Xilun goes and does what she asked instead. The way he interrupted their conversation was rude, although he did apologize for it.
Something about his behavior doesn't sit right with me. He comes across as a little "obsessed" and immature. But the real question is: will Yue'er actually like this type of behavior?

I think it's around Episodes 4–5, before they went to Thailand. We already know Yue'er and Xilun are very close in Thailand because, from the trailer, we can see them going horseback riding together and talking while watching the waves.
