This script is way better than POJ. Honestly, it's a breath of fresh air seeing an ML who is NOT royalty or from a court family.

The widow lady is the saddest one. But Yake it’s very relatable… everyone wants a better life. They did bad things to survive.. but if they continue to choose to be bad, then that’s on them.

But at the same time they have layers!!! Not only flat bad people. They have pasts, and reasons behind it. LOVE IT

She still has 2-3 guys after her.. but there are other lovelines forming. New cast coming definitely changed the dynamics.

I need this to become more popular. It’s that good, I’m telling you right now. It’s my personal best of the year up until today

Don’t even start with short dramas, I can’t 😭

I’ve been dropping C-dramas a lot lately. Once you’re aware of all those cheap tricks, you just can’t go back. I think I’ve watched so many C-dramas that I’ve turned into a whiny lady who’s incredibly hard to please now. 🤣

I have a hard time with ML acting and with some of the choices cdramas tend to make. I can’t with overly dramatic scenes created only to hype characters.. like over use of slow motion.. I cringe so much!! please help me understand if that’s the case here?

Wentao and Xuan OMG, I cried like a baby. They belong together. I’ve never seen this type of relationship in television before. Maybe love after divorce? Idk. They are too real and too cute. I can’t!

It had so much potential, but…
The storylines were so good. Minju’s unrequited love, YY falling so hard in just two days, WY being messy…
But honestly, cutting the SW and GY storyline leaves a huge hole in the show. I think only YYWY shippers will say this was a great season. And I guess, for them, it probably was.
But I can’t give it more than a 6. Unfortunately, there’s a love story that was never told.
