this show is very realistic. I don’t see a big ending, like she directing a big move or whatever. We’ll mostly likely see how life goes on in the middle of depression and breakups. IF she doesn’t die in the end… because I kind of see it.

I understand some people talking about the pace, but to me it was perfectly done. I got a little bit bored in some parts, specifically when it involved court drama, but it was not overly done, it was just enough to make you miss the main plot, which is the woman.
about the romance: it was enough for me. It was part of it, but never the focus. it’s about a realistic take on the difficulties women at that time had, and specially about memory, and trying to regain control of your own life! I’m really moved by it. will stick with me for a long time

Absolut worst! she was emotional AND drunk. he took advantage. doesn’t justify, she’s a grown woman that put herself in a dangerous situation. but he’s bad news, not that we didn’t know of his character, or the lack of it before.

I don’t like Yuer or Xilun, but the hate is getting a little too much. And I don’t even think it’s mainly because of Hewen. I think it’s because Yuer started as a fan favorite and ended up letting a lot of people down. The way she handled everything was a mess.
I read her mom’s letter, and I completely agree with what she said. She sincerely apologized for her daughter’s behavior and tried to be reasonable, because she obviously knows other sides of Yuer too. It’s also very evident that Yuer grew up surrounded by a lot of love.
I just wish Yuer herself had come forward and apologized. Her mom even explained the whole “likes” incident from the beginning of the show, when Yuer got caught liking controversial content about Hewen. She also said that Yuer personally apologized to the cast members she hurt. I imagine she’s talking about Hewen and Xiaoyu here.
I just wish that apology had come from Yuer publicly, not her mom. But I guess she really is immature and a little spoiled.
