Sol really went to the extreme by erasing Sunjae's memories. I understand her but I agree with him, an ending like that is a sad one. Now, I can't even rewatch past episodes coz it's still a sad ending rn.
I can't stop thinking about if Sol changed something then everything could change then why Inhyuk and Taesung…
I think she convinced her family to move after the house fire. Maybe even pointed out the pipes that could burst just so they could move earlier than in OG timeline
is it really 15 years for Sol, at most it could be a 6 months to a year.
She didn't need to stay in the past for 15 years just to avoid Sunjae. I think she convinced her family to move after the housefire /when Sunjae had surgery which kills 2 birds with 1 stone, no meetup with Sunjae and no reservoir accident
Some of the questions I have that's left unanswered. May I ask you guys to help me sort out these, incase I just…
OG timeline - maybe he had depression because he still continued to dream about not saving Sol 'properly' in the reservoir accident. The initial investigation might have shown that there was no apparent struggle so the media assumed it was suicide. But we have to note that he's taking pills so when the psycho pushed him to the pool, he was not alert unlike in Ep8 when he was just taking supplements and so was able to fight back. They disclosed the situation in Ep 8 because the psycho was on the run and maybe dangerous to people.
After 1st travel - mature Sol returned to the present before the reservoir accident and young Sol ignored Sunjae so young Sol still became disabled. Sunjae still felt guilt so basically nothing was really changed so mature Sol returned to her original position.
After the 2nd travel - Sol changed her fate of becoming disabled and so was transported to a now working Sol instead of being in her room. I am assuming that she also didn't return to the hospital after the 3rd/4th travel because Sunjae never got attacked - Grandma seem to retain memories of other timelines because of her dementia
3rd travel - mature Sol remembers/sees the experiences of young Sol before it happens might mean that the memories of the two Sols are somehow merging. -Sol didn't need to wear the watch to travel. She wasn't wearing it the first time. Like some others, I also think that watch becoming a time machine is a product of Sunjae's love for Sol, his need to protect her even after he dies, and will only work for Sol. It brings her to the time she thinks she'll be able to change Sunjae's fate (travel 1-before Sunjae busted his shoulder, travel 2-before he gets scouted, travel 3-before Sol gets attacked for the second time, travel 4- before the Sonaki moment)
If the Sonaki moment was around late April/early May and Sol had about 2 months again in the past, I think she still tried to secretly protect Sunjae from the cigarette smoke and so was able to meet Taesong. Maybe this time, she didn't confess to him and they became friends. Maybe she then convinced her family to move after the housefire. Based on her styling when they had the moving truck she was still in high school and it was also around this time that Sunjae had his 2nd surgery. So even if she leaves and young Sol takes over she never have that accident in the reservoir.
Please if someone read the novel can you spoil me the ending? ðŸ˜
Aside from going back to the past to save her idol, the novel and the drama have very different plotlines/scenarios so novel readers might not be able to give the spoilers you want. One of the major difference is the inclusion of the psycho taxi driver.
Did anyone else notice the slight shadings they did in Ep13? Sol convincing the actor of 'I want to kiss' said it will have one of the epic kisses in Korean cinema and wasn't the kisses in LR such epic ones? Then Sol's production (which might have the LR storyline) was described as a thriller romcom that they don't expect to succeed without an A-lister and in reality LR production team never thought that the drama will be this successful?
