Since the beginning of summer I’ve been stressed because I’m getting surgery soon so I haven’t really watched any drama. I started My Bias Is My Boss with no expectations since I read the webtoon ages ago and I ended up moving watching it!!! I’m having such a good time watching this drama and I’m always looking forward to mondays and tuesdays but then I feel kinda empty because I have nothing else to watch again after... I’m getting surgery this monday so I’m wondering if I’ll even have the energy to watch the upcoming episodes. But anyway for me this drama is a solid 10/10. I think it’s definitely going to earn its place among the rom-coms that are really close to my heart
Keep up your propaganda, the majority of us won't support him
You're the creepy one here, backing a groomer who dated a minor who sadly passed away because of him. Yes, I'll admit it was cheap of me to talk about Nigeria like that, but I've heard way too many stories about how trashy Nigerian men can act and it's honestly disappointing to see the Nigerian community blindly supporting KSH no matter what. Especially when you of all people know exactly how much damage men can do to women

So you are from Nigeria and from what I understand it is a place where immoral behaviour from men tends to be normalised. A significant number of people from your country appear to be supporting KSH as well I have heard some rather disturbing stories about what you all seem to tolerate over there
Rom-coms aren't really my favorite genre but I've watched a ton of them and for me "Boyfriend on Demand" is basically what a rom-com should be. The real challenge with rom-coms is keeping that romantic spark alive without the comedy falling flat. Lately, I don't think we've had any rom-coms that really hit the mark like the ones from early last decade (2010-2019). Back then they were legit amazing with solid original plots like "The Legend of the Blue Sea", "Kill Me Heal Me", "You're Beautiful", "I'm Not a Robot", "Fated to Love You"... They probably wouldn't be 10/10 now since they've aged a bit but back then they went all in on the humor and the love stories were incredible. These days rom-coms try to be all realistic and grounded but I end up getting bored, especially once the main couple gets together that spark just isn't there like it used to be. That's why I think "Boyfriend on Demand" pulled off something crazy in 2026 by giving us an actual original rom-com with a plot that makes sense. When we got that trainwreck "Dynamite Kiss" in late 2025, I'm honestly surprised anyone would call "Boyfriend on Demand" a bad drama
Yeah I feel you, his old stuff isn't really my thing either, honestly it's kinda surprising I ended up liking her latest drama this much. For his next drama, that cast it's basically Russian roulette since JJH used to be like the queen of comedy before her break, so maybe she's trying to get back into something lighter?
We'll see who's right, then :) Sorry for being so harsh earlier, but when it comes to boyfriend on demand there are just as many bad reviews as there are good ones. And I don't see why your dissatisfaction should hold more weight or be more factual in claiming this drama is bad
This director is insane and his last romcom was literally perfect. I’ve got a feeling this drama’s gonna be fire with that cast and him directing, I trust him completely. He knows how to pull off serious and light without it being cringe or shallow as hell. Don’t get too full of yourself, by the way
Finally I've met someone with the exact same thoughts as me! It's such an ignorant choice to use AI when the main…
After I finished the first episode I went straight to check the reactions and yeah, people don’t seem that bothered. I was kinda hoping we’d all be outraged together bc if we let this slide now, we’re gonna end up with some crazy stuff in the future. From what I’ve read Koreans don’t really seem bothered by the use of AI at all so there’s not much hope that our opposition to it will be heard. Guess all that’s left is to just sit back and watch 💀
Using AI in it really pulled me out of the drama. I even started wondering if the script was written with AI too... Where I’m from, AI is heavily criticized especially in artistic spaces and for a drama where the male lead is literally an animator, it honestly hurts to see AI-generated drawings. I’m sure they have the budget to hire skilled artists. At this point I genuinely feel like the drama is low quality, and I couldn’t even enjoy the rest of the episode because I was so annoyed. I’d be really disappointed if the future of dramas becomes fully AI, bc when I watch something I’m here for art and humanity, not a soulless product. For the writing my critical thinking is kind of clouded right now. I can’t even tell if it’s good or bad, I just know I’m bitter and unable to appreciate it anymore
