Title The Blood of Youth Spoiler
So I really enjoyed this in the beginning, the dynamic between the prince, monk and the fire guy (i'm bad with names) was so great while they were traveling around, fighting strong guys. Then the monk left the group and the show lost a bit of its charm once they went to the city and became disciples. I decided to drop this though at episode 15 after they started to introduce the romantic plotlines. I would've preferred it if they stuck to them getting stronger and achieving their goals and brotherhood without adding unnecessary romance. Maybe if the romances were done well it would've been a different story, but as is the ML has zero chemistry with the spear girl and she's so annoying and childish. I just don't get how he would ever like her with his personality being how it is. The naive fire fuy and the sick girl are also a mismatch in my opinion, she seems way too mature for him and relying on the love at first sight trope is just lazy. I read some spoilers that they were joining the group and going to play a bigger role, while monk guy hardly gets any screen time and seing as I can't stand the spear girl it's probably better to give up now.

I can't with this show. They're finally together and one episode later she decides to write him out of the story to "save" him. Even though they'd just discussed not to make decisions for each other. She is so fucking stupid, hurting ML at every turn. Can't believe she's actually sending him away, divorcing him and giving him the cruelest explanation by saying she got bored of him and used him. I am sick of the I have never loved you trope in dramas! Now it's supposedly for his sake, I hate this trope with all my heart. It started out as a fun lighthearted story, why did it turn into this shit show? Poor ML. Can't wait to finish this shit, rating this 8/10 because the first half was so good, but they really dropped the ball on FL decisionmaking and development

Man this started out great, hilarious, the cutest romance, the way they keep bickering is such a fun dynamic. But then FL all of a sudden becomes insufferable after a while. She keeps pushing ML onto her evil sister because of the plot as if he's not an actual human being with feelings. She keeps pushing him away and mingling with 2nd ML WHOM SHE DOESN'T EVEN LIKE yet it's like she doesn't even care how much she's hurting ML. And ML keeps forgiving her for everything, yet she will let him down the next scene anyway. He wears a fucking humiliating bracelet for her at which point she feels a bit sorry for him, but then goes to 2nd ML in the next scene and rides on one horse with him. So frustrating. They really ruined their relationship now that I'm on episode 15. I'm gonna finish it though as it's only 24 episodes.

Title Feud Spoiler
Dropped this after the big reveal that she was indeed his godly ex girlfriend. I liked it when she was still human, but of course this is a cdrama and ML can't love two women. The last 3 dramas I watched had human FL turn into some kind of deity and it's so overdone. What's wrong with them staying human without being overpowered all of a sudden. So boring.

Title Moonlight Mystique Spoiler
So I'm on episode 37 and slowly losing interest. The first 20 episodes or so were amazing, the MLs had such great chemistry, even though I couldn't really see why he fell in love with her and so quickly as I found FL to be kinda annoying. Everyone was like you love her from episode one lol, their love was more tell than show. The story had me binging till 3 am tho. Then after the ML got together it slowly got more boring. They were the heart of the show but their relationship really regressed to just hugging and saying I'll always be there for you repeatedly. ML lost his whole personality after they got together and his whole purpose in the story became being in love with FL. He was so strong and awesome in the beginning, but that got lost along the way. The story other than the ML relationship remained interesting though, so I would still rate this an 8.3 overall, with the first half being much better. I didn't really like the second couple at first, but after they leave the demon place they did grow on me and I ended up liking them much more than the ML. I really liked the past life storyline, ML got his personality back and it was such a beautiful love story. Overall it feels like they dropped the ball with ML development, he got overshadowed by 2nd male lead in the latter part.

edit: offically dropping this at 37. I read some spoilers, everyone dies and MLs are happy but I don't care enough to see it. Man it's such a bummer to have to drop shows at the end. Happened with the last 3 shows I've watched: till the end of the moon, who rules the world, love game in eastern fantasy sigh

Title Till the End of the Moon Spoiler
So currently on episode 32 and honestly it was great up until the point where she died and he went crazy looking for her. After he joins the sect and the "current" time line I've been skipping a lot and I find myself not really interested in their romance anymore. I mean, he tells her he's been looking for her for 500 years and she's still like "nah you got the wrong person". She was also needlessly cruel when she tried to kill him, saying she never loved him and she wishes they'd never meet again. He was nothing but nice to her idk why she has to be so cruel, so I'm not really invested anymore.

And don't get me started on her evil bitch sister. She has to be the evilest character I've ever seen, just fucking shit up for the hell of it. And it's not like her schemes are so intelligent, the other characters are just too stupid and keep letting her get away with everything. Everytime she almost died or got locked up, I cheered but she's really persistant and never goes away. And of course she comes back in the current time line too probably just to try to kill FL again! I can't with this show, offically dropping at episode 32. At this point I want him to become the demon king and kill everyone, they deserve it lol.

On Who Rules the World May 15, 2026
I'm on episode 35 and honestly can't wait to finish this. It's been dragging and repetitive for a while and I feel like the ML romantic arc is already complete. I really love this couple, they are the ultimate green flag. No misunderstandings, no break ups just genuine love from very early on. The way he looks at her omg. And their relationship was slowly build, so it feels real and I get why they love each other instead of like in some dramas where they're just together cause they're the main leads. They're both awesome, strong, funny, gorgeous. Perfect match! But after 35 episodes I've seen enough lol. The scheming against ML is so repetitive and uncalled for, he is obviously the only one worthy to be the heir just let him breathe for fuck's sake. I am rating this an 8.5 cause I was really invested in their relationship journey, otherwise more of a 7.5 storywise. Him wanting to become the heir was such a non issue to me. He's the strongest martial artist in the world and he's gonna waste that to become the emperor and do what? Read memorials all day, argue with officials and sit in a chair? And what would she do, wait in a room for him to come back from reading said memorials? Would be such a waste for both their characters. He's way cooler as the black fox so I hope he ends up choosing freedom and love instead of being the emperor.

On Lost You Forever Season 2 May 14, 2026
This show has gripped me like no other. Not because the story was so good, it was getting repetitive and honestly the FL lost her charm after she became the princess. I would've rated this an 8 for the story I think. But there is one reason why this is a 10/10 for me and that's the character of Xiang Liu. Never have I connected this much with a character, he became my all time favorite character out of all the dramas I've watched. I am so sad he wasn't the main lead, as he was the heart of the show even though he had limited scenes. He had me waiting for his scenes and stole every moment on screen. Tan Cian Ji did such an amazing job with his portrayal, not only is he absolutely gorgeous and really embodied the looks of this supposedly ruthless demon, but his charm, micro expressions and whole demeanor was absolutely spot on. The story was in a way his, he pushed the whole plot and had the biggest impact but like I said it's a lost opportunity for him not to be the main character as they created the perfect character and I wish I could've seen more of him.He was loyal, complex, selfless and his character growth from ruthless demon general to a selfsecrificing man was nothing short of wonderful. He started out by being abusive to the FL, but slowly he kept seeking her company not knowing why in the beginning. They bonded over their shared experiences, flew on chubby, had deep conversations, shared the love bug, spent time together practicing archery and going out doing what she loved. They were soulmates but neither of them took the opportunity to do something about it. Him because he knew he couldn't give her what she wanted and her because she was too afraid to admit her feelings. There were a few moments that could've changed everything, but they let it pass. One of them being her asking him if he had anything else to say to her after he congratulated her before her wedding. The other when she asked him who she should marry. The third when she said she wished she had saved him and he could be free. The fourth when she asked him if he couldn't change the path he was on. The fifth when she waited for him in a wedding like dress to take her away. The sixth when he asked her who she wanted to spend her life with and she didn't answer. The seventh when she said she would run away with him if he gave up everything and he just laughed it off. So many short moments that could've changed everything, but never did he forget his duties and goal in life. He knew he wasn't right for her so he kept her thinking he was a cold demon using her as a pawn. Nonetheless, he did everything to assure she would have a happy life after he was gone. He saved her from a loveless marriage, gave her the means to protect herself and brought back the man she would be able to lean on. He was the reason she could live a happy and carefree life in the end and selflessly never told her. The fact that she will never know breaks my heart. But him doing everything for her behind the scenes is what makes him such a tragic and beautiful character. After watching this I'm left with the what ifs. What if this was a typical cdrama where the best character was also the main lead and he got the happiness he deserved? But on the other hand I'm happy he got to go out the way he wanted. And I'm happy he got to see the memories she saved of him and smiled. I believe he knew she loved him, even though they were not meant to be. The only thing I would change is the FL. She was lovely as a guy but degressed in a sad mess for a - in my eyes - worthless guy, even though she kept saying how much she went through and wouldn't let her life revolve around a guy and wouldn't cry. But all she did was cry and be sad. And for what? Tushan Jing was the most bland, uninteresting character in the show for me. He let her down, was indecisive, had no personality other than following FL around. Never do they share a deep moment or talk like with Xiang Liu and Cang Xuan. He never fought for her, kept her waiting for decades while being a side chick and ended up being manipulated and abandoning her. Exactly what he said he wouldn't do and what was his only redeeming trait. He got her handed to him through Xiang Liu's actions. He was the one who saved her life for 40 years, he saved her from a loveless marriage, he brought Jing back to her, he was the one who told Jing that his wife was having an affair and FL exposed rhe affair. Jing didn't do shit but pine. Even when they were together I couldn't see the chemistry or passion. Xiang Liu showed his love through acts of service, Cang Xuan confessed so beautifully to her full of passion and Jing was just... there. A plot device so FL wouldn't feel abandoned. Which she was by him but ok. They kept telling me they were so in love but never showed why. Endless hugging scenes and holding hands doesn't mean love. Shared experiences and passion like the other two had does, and Jing was just bland. I liked Cang Xuan too, Zhang Wan Yi did an excellent job portraying a passionate, obsessive man. His drunk confession scenes were some of the highlights of the show to me. He kept telling her not to congratulate him on his marriages, but FL was to selfabsorbed to see the love and hurt he was going through. She kept hurting the other two more and more while wallowing in selfpity and heartbreak for a wet napkin that never fought for her and abandoned her. So sad what her character became. All in all this was a great watch, mostly because of Cang Xuan and Xiang Lu and I wish it had gone different.

Title Lost You Forever Spoiler
Wow Lost you forever is one of the best shows I've watched

This is gonna be long so bear with me haha.

So I finally decided to watch Lost You forever after putting it off because I thought I wouldn't like the premise of 4 MLs and one girl. I'm so happy I did, because this show turned out to be a 10/10, and I don't tend to rate something a 10 lightly. Not because the story was amazing, storywise it's probably an 8. Season 1 being a lot better than 2, but it never nosedived like a lot of dramas tend to do in the second part. This show was definitely heartbreaking and frustrating to watch, but worth it.

The reason I'm rating this a ten is purely because of one character: Xiang Liu. In all my years of watching dramas never have I connected this much with a character before. He had me waiting till he was on screen again, stealing every scene he was in. All my respect to Tan Cian Ji for portraying this complex character in such a wonderful way. I watched 62 episodes of this show because of his portrayal of Xiang Lu.

The character development he went through was nothing short of amazing. He started out as a heartless demon general, even hurting our FL several times by whipping her, dropping her out of a tree, drinking her blood etc. After a while though, he kept looking for her company, I think because she made him feel less lonely. Everyone was afraid of him and mocked him for being a 9 headed demon, yet she was bantering with him and he let her made fun of his 9 heads because he knew she didn't think less of him. They opened up to each other and had many deep conversations, she told him she had nowhere to go and couldn't protect herself nor could she rely on anyone, which he took to heart and later on made sure that she had all those things.

He willingly planted the love bug into his heart for her. At that moment I was afraid it wouldn't accept him, but it did and they were tied together by love very early on in the show. I had hope then it meant a happy ending for them. What made it frustrating to me is that he did so much for her but she never knew nor appreciated it. Of course, it was his choice not to let her know what he did and that makes him such a great character, but I still wish she knew. He saved her life for 40 years by cutting into his heart, she was there as a ghost, she should've seen his devotion and love yet when told he did it for a mountain as a transaction she just accepted that and never even thanked him. He gave her a bow made of rare materials which had been forged for 40 years and he never told her. Everytime he felt through the love bug that she was sad or in danger he would rush over to save her or to cheer her up by taking her out, doing the things she loved the most like going to underground places or eating. When she found out she was the daughter of that supposedly evil demon and was inconsolable, he made her feel better by sharing his story and writing on that lamp to make her realize she should trust her mother's judgement. She felt better after that, something Tushang Jing and Xiang Cang couldn't do for her. It's because she only had deep conversations with him that he understood her and the other two didn't.

He loved her selflessly because he knew he wasn't right for her, she told him she was afraid he would enter her dreams so he didn't dare. Her mother and father were the proof of how enemies end up eventually, destined for a tragic ending. He wanted safety and happiness for her and didn't want to abandon her by dying so he never once indulged in his feelings for her. He let her believe that he was a heartless demon for her sake. The cause he was devoted to and wanted to see through til the end, couldn't be abandoned by him even though I wish he did and became a king in the end.

I spend the whole show waiting for glimpses that showed that she loved him, but I feel like it never really happened. There were moments that I feel could've changed everything, but he never took advantage of them because he knew he wasn't right for her. One of the moments was after she got engaged and he congratulated her. She asks him "don't you want to say anything else to me", as if she's hoping he would open up but he replies "what should I say" and the moment passes. After that she asks him who he thinks she should marry. I was screaming at the tv TELL HER "ME", but he replies "how should I know". This broke my heart every time, cause I never got the closure I wanted. I respect him for his choice of seeing the war through, but I wish she just knew he had sacrificed two of his lives to remove the love bug. I wish she knew he brought Jing back to her after he was lost, that he saved her life because he loved her not because of a transation, that he gave her the bow and taught her to protect herself because he couldn't in the future. I wish he had confessed and even if he was turned down, at least it was some closure.

My favorite moment was when she was about to marry Feng Long and she waited by the ocean in a wedding like red dress, while he was dressed in red too. She saw snow over the ocean and stood up hopefully, but he never came. Once again their chance had passed.

I was happy for him he got to die the way he wanted to. She said she wouldn't cry for him when he died, but she ended up crying after finding out he had erased the memories from the mirror. The moment he saw she had him saved there and he smiled broke my heart. I was happy he got to see how much he meant to her for her to keep those memories, I believe he knew she loved him even though she couldn't allow herself to admit that. Imagine if she already loved him without knowing what he sacrificed for her, how much she would've loved him if she knew all that he did for her. But we never got to know because he didn't want her to fall for him and have to choose between her brother and him or have him abandon her by dying.

Another moment that stood out to me was when he was questioning her with his powers and she admitted she was willing to marry Ye Shi Qi. When he asked her who she wanted to spend her life with though, she never replied and got a headache. As if she was fighting the answer. I like to think that she was thinking of him at at moment, but we'll never know.

Long story short, he was a complex character who loved her so selflessly and never allowed himself a chance with her but provided everything for her to end up safe and happy. I believe he did the most for her out of all the ML and loved her the deepest, willing to sacrifice his own happiness for hers. I love him so much and once again all my praises go to the actor for portraying him so brilliantly and tragically. This is my favorite character out of all the dramas I've watched and I don't think there will be another one.

I also want to talk about the other two male leads. Xiang Cang Xuan was also a very tragic character. He had so much pressure on his shoulders and lived for his promise to protect her and because of that being with her became his obsession. He kept having to make choices that meant he would never be with her. Every time he had to marry he told her not to congratulate him, that was so heartbreaking. His confession when he was drunk was one of the best moments in the drama I think, the actor knocked it out of the park. He said he would get rid of all the women, he only wanted her and I was glad he confessed but it all came down to nothing cause they forgot because they were drunk. Then he almost confessed again before his marriage with Nian. She kept pushing him to marry her and told him she thought he would be happy, that also broke my heart for him and he almost confessed again but not quite. She should've known then though, that frustrated me a bit. He was hurting but she refused to see it. I was happy he realized he would choose the throne in the end and his life doesn't revolve around her, at least it was somewhat of a happy ending for him.

Then lastly, Tushan Jing. I can't explain how little I cared about this character. The other two male leads overshadowed him so much that it got me questioning my sanity why she insisted being with him. I loved him in the beginning when he wasn't Tushan Jing yet, he was loyal and loved her with all his heart. But that was it. He didn't have anything else going on besides loving her. He was a bland, boring character who never even had a deep conversation with the FL. After he became Tushan Jing he became gradually more boring and an empty shell. Both of the other 2 male leads said that he was indecisive and they were so right. He couldn't break up a fucking engagement for like 20 years after promising it several times. She said she wouldn't wait for anyone yet she was reduced to being his side chick, for what? I don't even understand why she loved him so much, he wouldn't abandon her yet he did when they tricked him into a marriage by his own fault for being too weak. He had zero personality, no banter with her like the other two he just loved her and pined for her for like a century. I don't get it. They were telling me this was a great live story but I just didn't see why they loved each other when they had zero chemistry or passionate moments like with the other two. Cang Xuan laid his heart out for her during his confession, Xiang Liu loved her by guaranteeing her happiness after he was gone and sacrificing himself and his feelings in the process. What did Jing do? Love can't just be about not abandoning someone (which he did but ok), love can't be about making loving that person your only personality trait. Yet the whole series I was supposed to buy their relationship, at least show me why they love each other so deeply. It was just montages of her and Jing standing next to each other and hugging. With Cang Xuan she went through so much, they laughed together and loved each other deeply and I could feel the passion. With Xiang Liu she had deep conversations, they looked at the moon and explored the sea, flew on Chubby, ate together, learnt archery together, explored underground places which she loved to do. They had banter, passion and I believe if he had allowed her to fall in love with him she would've chosen him. But I am not the writer of this show and I can't change things. Her choice of being with Jing is why I would rate this show an 8. It wasn't the great love story they make it out to be and had me bored after he became Tushan Jing.

It's hard to believe for me that a 3rd male lead stole the show so overwhelmingly that it had me watching 62 episodes just for him. I would've dropped it if it weren't for him. So I'm sticking with my 10/10 rating, because Xiang Liu made it worth it. And Cang Xuan made it worth it too in later episodes.

Thank you for reading!

I agree. The “they loved each other since childhood” trope strikes again! They never showed us why these people like each other or why they are in love. There was no build up to their deep feelings. Hell, they hardly know each other as adults as they didn’t have one conversation in between the kidnappings and explosions

That was exactly my problem with this show: they never showed us why this couple likes each other. It was just the childhood connection trope all over again. They never had a conversation (other than the phone calls, and most of the time he didn’t even know it was her) or scenes in which you see them fall in love. She gets kidnapped and that’s the moment he decides that he’s always liked her and she did too, brushing all his cunty behavior to the side.

It was enjoyable enough to finish it, but mostly to see what crazy plotline they’d come up with next.

I'm honestly so surprised this comment keeps coming up because we are not dealing with an emotionally well adjusted…
So far he’s been mean to her for 3 years, then had 3 phone calls with her and suddenly they’re head over heals for each other. Yet all the romantic scenes are imaginary and they don’t actually know each other aside from their childhood crush.

The show would’ve benefited from a couple of scenes where they get to know each other and him being nice to her to make their romance more believable. Just my opinion, I’m having a hard time believing their small interactions as kids is why they’re so in love with each other.

So yeah, if not therapy then him being at least nice to her would’ve helped with solidifying their love for each other.

Imo that doesn’t excuse his behaviour. She deserves much better. If he’s not emotionally well adjusted, he should seek therapy and not be in a relationship for a while 👀

It’s one thing to engage in a discussion with someone and another to call their opinion wrong or lies. How can an opinion be wrong even. I don’t go around trying to convince the 10 reviews that they’re wrong either. Imma respectfully write this one down as an agree to disagree. It’s apparently a very important show to you and to me just one of the many dramas I’ve watched and that’s just entertaining enough not to drop despite the things I mentioned in my review. Have a wonderful time watching tomorrow!
