Hmmm, I still definitely like the original one better. I mean for a Korean version it does it's part, but then it just didn't seem all that unique after they changed the script. Where's the anguish, where's the heartache, where does the main girl finally get her chance to stand up to the main guy. But because they changed the main guys character and so much other stuff, we never got to see the main girl really change. I guess it had it's own merits but personally it just didn't seem that satisfying to watch for me. I still like the Taiwanese version more.
I did like it especially the humor, but they could have fleshed some stuff out a bit more. especially with Oil. Honestly she had the worst end of the stick, having to find out that her step-father was the one who raped her, killed her father, and she got pregnant with his kid? Oh God! Disgusting. But they just skipped over her story like it was nothing. I would have liked to see a better closure scene for her. And honestly they could have gone without that piece. It really was too disgusting to find out. I felt sooooo bad for Oil, she was such a nice and understanding older sister. I really wished they would have left out the step-father having been the one who rapped her, cause that was just disgusting. But I guess they wanted to make him even more evil and so they added. I'm not saying that her first husband wasn't a man whore, all I am saying is that didn't she cheat on her second husband in a sense as will like how her first husband did to her? Also, I know that her second husband isn't a good person, but all I am saying is that at least he was able to keep his promise to her about having her and her only. And with the matter of her son. How did she have a son with her first husband? Because she cheated is the answer. All I am saying is that if she is going to act that way then maybe she should rethink about her wanting her husband to have her and her only and just how different is what she did to her second husband to what her first husband did to her? She slept with another man, eloped with him, an had his kid, all the while still considered the wife of her second husband. If you were gonna run away then you should have cleared things up with your first husband first before you ran. And I wouldn't think about bringing the matter of her second husband threatening her with her family as a reason as to why she didn't leave him in the first place. If she was so scared to leave in the first place because she didn't want him to do anything to her family, then why isn't she scared about her family now that she are running away with her first husband? It just makes her look like a hypocrite and a two hearted person like everyone said. You are with one person but you suddenly run away and have a kid with another.
Okay, so I understood and felt bad for her up until she decided to cheat on her second husband with her first husband. After that, she really just proved what people said about her. She is indeed a person with two hearts. I don't care if he was your first husband and lover. I don't care if he is the only one you really loved. Fact is that you are now married to someone else and is in a relationship with someone else. YOU imposed rules of wanting your spouse to have YOU and YOU only, which the second husband followed. He had you and ONLY you. He wasn't handsome nor smart and was creepy, clingy, kind of weird, and a lot of the times crazy, and yet he was the only one who actually followed that one rule. Your first husband wasn't even close to it and YOU certainly didn't follow it when you slept with your first husband, eloped with your first husband, and got pregnant with your first husband all the while you were still married to your second husband. Even if your second husband isn't the person you loved, you owe it to him at least to be as loyal as he was since you were the one who couldn't take it that their spouse had side bitches. So like what the fuck are you doing? She is such a hypocrite and I hate that she is trying to act as if she didn't have a choice. I would understand if you were unwilling in all the situations that happened but clearly you didn't mind sleeping with another man while still married to your second husband. So again, doesn't this just prove that she really was just a two hearted person like what everyone else said? Her story really doesn't help to her name.
Their whole ordeal really could have been avoided had they just treated the Second Female lead nicer. Yeah she was bad in her last life but in her first life, she wasn't even bad to them. People just kept on trying to trip her up and get on her nerves, especially the main guys younger sister who was rude for no explained reason. And if someone if gonna talk about this being karma, then honestly I don't think that even fits in here because like I said before, she was a nice person in the beginning. It was just the people around her that kept on pushing her to became bad. Humans have an extent to how much they can put up with. I had actually really hoped that the main female lead's older brother would have ended up with her. But he was just kind of shitty in a way too. Nobody tried to understand her and no one ever really cared to befriend her. With her upbringing, all she probably needed was a good friend who could listen to her and make her feel comfortable. Out of all of the characters, she is probably the most pitiful one because she didn't turn bad herself, but was pushed to it and no one ever really pointed that out.
Now the most annoying one was the younger sister. Like bitch, can you just shut the fuck up for one moment! What is wrong with you and your snarky and spoiled ass. The second female lead didn't even do anything bad in the first place but she keeps on trying to start stuff. I know it would be mean to say this but honestly the dark side of me is just like she had the whole kidnaping incident coming. You were an immature and spoiled little brat, what did you think was going to happen with that stupid and ugly ass attitude of yours. And when the Second female lead called her out afterwards for all of her harassments and ugly attitude, she gets the protection and shit but no one acknowledges the fact that the younger sister really had been unreasonably rude to the second female lead before.
But again, this doesn't mean that what I think happened to her is okay. It's not okay so no dumb or stupid person should be thinking that it's an excuse to go kidnap, beat, and try to rape others.
I don't think they were enemies and then went to being lovers in Tarm Ruk Keun Jai. They had disagreements but I wouldn't say it to a point of being enemies.
I think he is a really good actor, but he is most frequently paired with Yaya all the time and vice versa. I get they are a couple and people like seeing them together, but honestly I feel like they get paired too often. Working with different actors and actresses can be helpful to one's acting, but working with the same person over and over again... Smh. I really wish Channel 3 or whatever company/station they work with gives them more work with different actors and actresses. They are really good at acting and have a lot of potential, but they just seem to be stuck with each other. I would love to see their chemistry with other actors and actresses' in the future.
I really liked the ost. But one of the things I had the hardest time figuring out was the main girl's expression. It was like she always had the same face in every scene and at times I couldn't tell what she was trying to express. Like their wedding for example. So confusing! Also, Vill's acting as the evil twin was nice, but her acting as the nice twin was kind of annoying. It really could have been better.
