well, China doesn't really approve of BL novels. It isn't illegal, it's just that the government doesn't like…
Will... that's super disappointing and depressing. I feel so bad for the original writers. The Chinese government does too much sometimes. I heard that some people were even defending the plagiarizer and that the plagiarizer was even taunting the original writer. I don't know if that's true or not, but either way, it's pathetic. So disappointing!
So like, what are they doing about the plagiarism? Is the author of the piece of plagiarism this drama was made from getting sued or what? I hope the original writers get their justice!
Hi! Sorry but where did you watch the one with Anne please?? I looked everywhere but can only find the first 20…
I watched it when it was on youtube. It used to be fully subbed on youtube, but they took it down. I tried finding it online. Alwaysmeena or Always Grumpy Cat has up to episode 20 subbed. But that isn't the whole drama though. Sorry.
Yes...that is our female lead ..stupid and a busy body, that is her character she can't help...but i think we should…
Eh, I guess, or maybe I just can't relate to the way she acts. I just feel like to fall so easily in love with the main culprit of all your torture in school was a bit stupid and ridiculous even for a high schooler in a drama. But then again, this was made in 2009. I guess this was what people were into.
I feel like it's true if you watch it the first time as a young person then the drama would seem really good and interesting. But if you watch it a second time as time past, you come to realize how messed up it is and how annoying the characters are. You begin to see the weird and awkwardness of the acting and the ridiculously cringe situations and scenes that they show.
I don't really like the main girl's characters. They make her out to be this person who stands up to people too much. I mean it's okay and good to stand up to people but you really got to do it smartly. She was always standing up to people but it never really seemed like she made that big of a statement. She was just always getting hurt back without really getting her revenge. Also, how the hell are you gonna go and fall in love with the person who told the whole school to make your life a living hell? He never even apologized. The scenes where he was protecting her from the people that HE told to bully her in the first place was ridiculous and kind of stupid. You don't really look cool when you stand up to the people you employed to do harm.
I didn't really like how the actress portrayed her either cause she just seemed ditzy, stupid, and a busy body. Also, what was with all those exaggerated expressions and actions. They tried to make her look like a person who doesn't follow the social constructs in the environment, but instead she just seemed annoying with the way she did things.
Also, her family really annoys me. They are literally trying to sell her off to some rich person. Honestly if her family had supported her more in what she wanted, she would have done well even in the situations that she was in. Cause then at least she had her family to lean back on. But we could tell that her family didn't really care about her well being, which is rather sad.
Hmmm, the summary makes me not want to watch it. I have a hard time supporting cheaters/adulterers. I get they are probably trying to make the main girl this anti-hero type of character, but still, cheating? And the fact that she knew he was already married but still continued the relationship? Not cool no matter how you look at it (at least for me that is). And the main guy is also a cheater too? I mean, if I was the wife, I feel like I would be pretty angry too. (Although I'd have enough self respect to leave the cheating bastard instead of sinning myself by causing the pain and death of a whole freaken family! Like damn! And yes I know at the time, women had no choice but to stay with the man, but still). Hmmm...
Honestly I don't wat to go back and watch all of it. I already know the ending and, well, its... you know what it is. So yeah, I don't think Ima do that. If you could spoil it for me, I'd appreciate it, but if you don't want to you don't have to.
Why do I feel like lately Chinese drama plots are always about lovers who end up marrying someone else? And they are always kings or queens or military generals? Lets talk about a beggar for once! They could have interesting lives too! Or a farmer, or even a fisherman!
Having kind of read the novel, the movie doesn't really live up to it. The novel had a lot more tension and it just had so much more to it. It was darker, made my heart break even more for the two, and it made you feel the adrenaline run through your body (at least for me that is). But I think it was still heartbreaking to see what they both went through in the movie. I really loved the pairing by the way.
Man, can yah believe that the age difference between the two is 8 years and she is playing the younger person? WOW!
but I thought the main guy's grandfather lied to the main girl's mom and then they got married and she got pregnant with the main girl, but then she found out that he was just using her so she ran away?
Her adoptive family are such hypocrites. They sent the main girl cause they didn't want their daughter to suffer the harsh living conditions with the main guy, but when they got caught they try to say it was because they knew the main girl was the best choice for the main guy. And it was just so ridiculous how they got away with it. It was so annoying seeing them trying to act like good people.
I liked the mysteries in the beginning but too many flashbacks to scenes we've already seen and a lot of things seemed rush at the end. I did like it, but it definitely could have been better.
In my opinion, I feel like the one with Anne was better. I didn't really like the way Janie portrayed Nin. I know the character was suppose to be someone who was headstrong and fights back, but I feel like the way Anne portrayed Nin made her seem like someone who was also serious and more mature unlike Janie's. I didn't really like the production either, especially the main girl's hair and clothes as both sisters.
I also honestly thought the fight scene in this one was kind of lame too. What's with all the hand holding and staring?
