I loved it but the ending felt a bit rushed. It would have been so much nicer to see a better closure for King. But they just skipped to the engagement party and he wasn't even there! I really felt sad for his character. He really loved her and really thought he had a chance when they went out, but turns out it was never meant to work. That was one of the few things I didn't like about the FL. If you don't really love someone then don't give them hope. You just end up hurting them even more. Other than that I liked her more than the Korean version. But yeah, and it would have been ice to see at the end what all her friends are up to after. It would have been a really good lakorn if only they fleshed out the characters a bit more.
They really do, but my personal opinion is that Liu Fei wasn't my favorite Xiao Long Nu. Carmen Lee 1995 version…
Same! Out of all the Xiao Long Nu's that have been played, I like Carmen Lee the best too. Liu Yi Fei is pretty and all, but I personally think Carmen Lee still looks better as Xiao Long Nu.
Even after hearing Yoo Jung's side of the story, I still don't like him. I mean Baek In Ho and Beak In Ha weren't in the right for what they said and did. But in the end, the main culprit is Yoo Jung's father. YJ's always reasoning that he is just getting back at people or what they did to him, but I don't see him getting back at his father! All I see is him getting back at In ha and In Ho. And let's be honest here, in the real world where you are but two abandoned children living under the roof of strangers, can you really bring yourself to refuse their requests when they literally have control over where you live? why does YJ act like he isn't in a position of power? You come from a rich family, you have connection to people, and you have power. You are privileged. I still don't see what people mean when they say he is strange. It looks like he has a low EQ level and is just very manipulative, judgy, and self centered. He keeps on saying that other people have the victim mentality but then again, doesn't he see that he too is acting that way? Your father used vulnerable children to keep tabs on you and help you so you can build normal relationships cause yah father and son relationship is so stupid, but instead of getting back at him you go and destroy another person's dreams and then blame it on them. He is basically a fucken orphan living under a stranger's roof, what is it that you think he can do? Even though it seems like they never made t clear whether YJ was the one who cause BIH's hand to be broken, from the way he acted, Ima consider that as a yes he did it. Baek In Ho definitly wasn't in the right for saying those kinds of things about Yoo Jung, but it wasn't to the point where Yoo Jung had the right to be cause that whole situation. He just seems so self centered and it's just annoying honestly.
