Looking at most comments here, it seems actors make a good job: we are immersed in the story.
From my POV, while at eps.8, the story moves towards real scenario: Tamaki (FL) develops a relation with Tamotsu (SML), who is a partner closer in age, thus in life experience and way of life. Of course, SML has red flags, but this is also the reality of majority of the people after they got hurt by life (he doesn't want to lose FL for ML as maybe he lost his ex-wife).
Ryuhei (ML) will be better of after liberating from his "whole-life-crush" (which might be almost an obsession to protect back FL as she was protecting him in childhood) and explore the full opportunities of his inception in adult life (photo shooting scenes gives us a glimpse of his potential development).
I am looking forward to next episodes, and hope to find a site to watch with good EN subs - so that we could enjoy the subtlety of the story.
Where did you download episode 10 from? My file was corrupted so I had to skip it and go straight to the special.

There is also spin-off episode, in which there should be some clarifications of what happened after the wedding and how CP moved on. Of course, as I am not JP language proficient, I will look forward to whole drama EN subs.
Just watched it on Prime and I enjoyed it. It raised to the value and quality of other similar movies more reknown such as Ex-Machina, Her. Of course, Asian societal values and norms were contributing to original intrigue of the movie. A good watch and a good performance of Yuko Araki.
