This series was well-made and I was really impressed with everyone's skills (especially dancing). Too bad the last eps didn't get subs and there's no news regarding a possible 2nd season.
WHYRU Korea is definitely better than the Thailand one. I admit, I was such a huge fan of the Thai ver (because…
I like both versions, but they are very different bc the characters are written soo differently - especially Fighter and Hwahwa. And of course they have a hugely different budget and different surrounding circumstances (e.g. CoV-19). I find your take on the Thai version a bit demeaning. I don't think the show was that overshadowed by the bed scenes, 'though I personally prefer when shows mostly exclude those. I think a lot of people, like me, firstly remember it for things like Fighter's iconic breakdown scene and a lot of very romantic non-sexual ones...
Oh no! They are probably still understaffed esp. w/ English-speaking personnel. :( On twitter there are some national fan sites (e.g. Peru: @DomundiP, Philippines: @DomundiFamilyPH). Maybe there's one for your country? I also know this international fan account, but it's specially for ZNN, but maybe they can refer you: @ZNN_Int All the best!!
Also, can we just take a moment to appreciate that we live in a time where there are time travel BLs? (And really good ones like this one at that!) ❤️❤️❤️
I just finished this, and I don't really get the end (just the last scene, the rest, I get it), but like, I don't…
I've been thinking about that, as well. I tried to come up with an ending that solves everything but under the premise that if Ji Hoon doesn't die Jae Woo never becomes the person he is in 2022 and doesn't go back to save Ji Hoon it just doesn't work out, even if they alerted the police beforehand or run away together with the young Jae Woo. That's why I am (sad but) content with the ending they chose in the series. (At least Jae Woo got to work out his trauma and has a positive attitude, now.)
I'd agree that there are many with heavy makeup. The first that come to my mind are A Shoulder to Cry on, Light on Me, Roommates of Poongduck 304, ... In Korea the fashion seems to be to brighten the face so much with makeup that it actually contrasts the rest of the body, if you look closely. In Thailand they try to avoid that but still use so much foundation and lipstick / lipgloss. E.g. Star in my Mind, 2gether, My Engineer, Gen Y, Cutie Pie, ...
can someone please tell me why does the Korean interview in dramas have to be a group interview. why not one on…
I once had a group interview for a job and found it rather encouraging that there were more people in the same situation as me. I liked the concept. :)
after finishing the last episode all I can think about is... what was the point of the whole show??
I believe the intended point was for Jae Woo to overcome his trauma and make peace with Ji Hoons death now that he knows he chose it willingly to save him (and he got to spend at least a little time with him)
I am here because spotify recommended a track from the series and I kinda stopped mid-work to check where it was…
Well, it evokes different reactions. I absolutely love it! If you like angsty or heartachy dramas, I strongly recommend giving it a chance. In my opinion, even the soundtrack alone is already worth watching the show.
The way I see it, there was no way for Jae Woo to save Ji Hoon because in doing so, he would have changed the flow of time and thus never become the person he was in 2022 and definitely not have traveled back. Typical time travel problem...
