Naw the FL is so annoying in my opinion. She just gets on my nerves and I can’t stand her. Would be better if…
No, the actress who played the female lead is the reason this show was bearable (the younger male lead was annoying, always whining, always complaining and dragging out the whole thing; the case could have been solved in 8 episodes). In all of her shows she delivers the best performance or one of the best (What Happens to My Family (along with the actor who played her crush); Fantastic; I Have a Lover; Miracle that We Me (along with the other two leads); or Hellbound).
Plus I actually did not like Kangjae and his wife as a couple and the only character which I loved the dad is…
It's actually the contrary. The dad was the most annoying, pathetic and pitiful character; the old generation of South Korea's lower middle class with all their bows and "I'm sorry, I'm sorry, I'm sorry...for not being a better father", "I'm sorry, I'm sorry, I'm sorry", "Thank you, Thank you, Thank you". He licked asses and became a pathetic fool when he should have kept his dignity; but showed pride when unnecessary. And then the lower middle class wonders why they will always remain losers. That was a bad message; old-fashioned KDrama shit. He scolded his own flesh and blood for nothing; but licked the asses of strangers. After 52 episodes the father at least admitted that he was wrong in almost every decision he made. Instead of being happy and honest in the weeks before his death, he caused ruckus and rifts within his own family. In real life solving such issues takes three years, not three months. That's my only complaint about this otherwise good show. The "ass-lick" trope in KDramas always bothered me.
I often see your reviews. Zero credibility after giving a terrible and poorly written drama like this 8 lol
Dumb comment. I'm sure you don't like most of the dramas I like, while you will for sure like dramas that are overrated and overhyped ones. As a fan of the lead actress I'm watching 'You are my Spring' right now. I'm stil not excited about the show, but I like 'Black Dog', 'Beauty Inside', 'Why Her' and 'Dr Romantic' (the latter two are great despite the boring, stiff, unattractive and awful main actors). with the same actress. What I'm wanna say is, I'm sure you don't like all four of them. So, watch your shit and let us alone.
Some of bad comments are like people didn't watch the drama and just commenting!! All they say is up side down
And those are the people who like the weakest and boring shows. That's mdl. I'm in love with this show, it's one of the dramas I can watch over and over again.
That's exactly why I love this drama. I love how his characters stay the same. And care for people in his own…
I'm in love with this show too. I don't care what others say. Amidst all the weak and boring shows in 2023 so far, this is a fresh and entertaining one. Especially the romance between middle-aged characters rather than young, boring idols is so refreshing and cute.
Where's the "revenge"? They drag out the whole thing. Shows about bullying are so overproduced and out-of-date. A total waste of time. I expected a real revenge story, the main protagonist turning into a badass girl kicking the asses of the perpetrators. And now look what we got
The sisters didn't live in poverty; the awful director never showed this alleged poverty. In my country, Germany,…
If you can't afford a decent amount of vegetables, fruits, drinks and meat. If the rent, including additional costs, of your one-room flat is almost higher than your paycheck. If you have to pay off medical bills from your own pocket. If the furniture looks dirt cheap in comparison to the 'Little Women' sister's home. And so on. The most realistic portrayal of poverty can be found in 'My Mister'.

No, I didn't miss your point. I simply wrote that I myself never felt that someone in this show suffered from poverty anyway. I can't answer your question because I found nowhere in this show any poverty. It was 1% shit coupled with three sisters who dreamt of living a "luxurious" life. Nothing made sense in this show.

You wrote "let her suffer in poverty". I was a few times in Seoul and it's still my dream to have such a rooftop apartment. I also didn't mention culture, did I? Whether in South Korea, Germany, Brazil or the U.S., poor people simply can't afford rooftop houses. If you like such property or not is another question.
The sisters didn't live in poverty; the awful director never showed this alleged poverty. In my country, Germany, everyday booze and a rooftop apartment is even too expensive for the middle class. Rooftop apartments, no matter the age and condition, belong to the most expensive (because very rare and popular) houses. Real poverty was shown in -really- amazing shows like 'My Mister'.
