EP5 - I kept on pausing and make some quick distraction / breather whenever Jin Jung is being chased. My heart…
I love the cast but still can't rate this show. The script is very conventional and predictable. I wished some writers would be a bit more creative, after all it's a 2022 not 2015 show.

I'm generally of the opinion this is going to be transference/counter-transference rather than legit romantic…
I would be angry if the writers leave her being alone and lonely. Is that motivating? No! Then the story would return to the beginning, when she was in a slump. After all, it's a drama. A pathetic, sad ending would f*ck up the entire show. Up until now, I love this show.

It's one of the dramas that I liked but wouldn't necessarily rewatch.

Is it a comedy ? Genres and tags are all serious Someone clarify please :)
The comedy (and Coco) is the highlight of the show. The rest is meh bc too conventional and predictable. Written in a hurry. It's disappointing as the cast and performances are top-notch.

They were stoned. For 3 days it showed "episode 4 available in 0 days". Yesterday I could finally watch episode 4

I like it that Jin is kind of a detective. That's the interesting and entertaining part of the show, him investigating along with his crew. The comedy and Coco are the highlights so far. The highlight of episode 4 was the coffin scene

The main jerk is the CEO (or a relative). It would be lazy writing if Kim is the main culprit. Kim is one of the powerful minions, that's why he became the chief. The other male lead is just a dog of the powerful, but I sense a redemption arc, otherwise he would probably become one of the most senseless leading characters ever in K-Drama history. The performance of this actor is also meh. The performances of the rest of the cast are top-notch.

So what's wrong with the age gap? Actor Namgoong Min's wife is 11 years younger. Do you think they give a damn…
Yes, sorry

I love a good age gap romance as much as the next person but I don't see that happening here. It will be fun to…
So what's wrong with the age gap? Actor Namgoong Min's wife is 11 years younger. Do you think they give a damn about what the conventional society thinks? In case of this great show, both leads have many similarities and, most of all, they can heal each other. Nevertheless, I don't think the writer is unconventional enough to risk setting them up. The show indicates a romance between the doctor and Jegal, which is not to my liking.

Review Little Women
Finally a review i can agree with, i genuinely have bee wondering if i watched the same show as some of the reviews…
The poor writing was obvious from the start. It starts with seemingly "minor" issues, like the alleged poverty of the sisters/family. I never felt that poverty. They lived in an rooftop-apartment (in my country, it belongs to the most expensive flats-to-rent, no matter the condition, it's 5+ times higher than the rent of my flat). Both older sisters had jobs, ate more than just ramen and drank more than just water. An alcoholic needs about 10 dollars per day for booze, it's 300 dollars per month, this is, in 2022, a fortune. Watching this, it made me poorer than I am. These sisters simply belong to the lower middle-class. The show is a mixture of the book 'Little Women' and shows like 'The Dynasty' with Hitchcock-elements. Not my cup of tea. I was never impressed by the cheap and unethical lifestyle of the 1%, and all those "wanna-be-rich" people who tend to betray their best friend in their quest for power and money. Shows like 'Little Women' and, much worse, 'The Penthouse', 'SKY Castle', 'Remarriage and Desires' or 'Eve', tend to getting further and further away from Korean culture and religion, or in short: almost everything Korean (the very reason why I watch K-Dramas rather than Western crap); instead there is talk about Château, Modigliani and Harvard, meh. The performances of the three female leads are rather average, if compared with IU's stellar performance in 'My Mister'. There were barely any memorable lines. The cinematography lacked the poetic imagery which would have supported the -as some reviewers claim- symbolism.

I don't watch U.S. garbage anymore. It might be great for the dumbed-down masses. U.S. actors/actresses are the worst ever in the history of cinema. I couldn't take their smug faces and cheap performances anymore. It's pathetic, propaganda-driven, drug- and gun-promoting, misogynistic and hypocritical trash entertainment filled with hookers and pimps.

Who is the actual male lead???? someone tell me please currently now I am watching epi 3
Ironically, the male lead was the only uninteresting, boring and annoying character. The performances of the rest of the cast were top-notch, particularly of those who played the artists, the editor-in-chief and deputy editor, and, of course, the female lead. But the male lead, meh

Funny u mention though I only started watching KDRAMA this year as I accidentally stumbled upon it while watching…
I don't take the ratings serious. My complaint is that the -felt- majority leaves hateful comments.

The only joke about the ratings and reviews here is how serious you seem to take them. It is probably the height…
I tried to interact and recommend, but got mostly hateful comments back, users calling 70% of all Korean shows "trash" and, worst of all, defaming felt 80% of all actresses. I gave up to take MDL serious.

Because it is actually good, most people tend to like crappy shows LOL
I don't care who's playing as long as the performances, and the show itself, are great. People tend to hype certain shows because of some "Oppas", no matter how awful or great the end result.
