it's okay to grow apart. it's not okay to cheat on someone. ohm should have chosen a suitable time and place to express his thoughts, concerns, and doubts. something like, "our connection has changed, do you feel that way, too?"

ohm and jom would have been able to take a break or seek couples therapy to navigate the situation. the decision about the future of their relationship should have been made with careful consideration of jom's well-being. ohm didn't do that. he's a fucking jerk

i didn't read the novel to comment on it. drama jom didn't look like he knew that the women charged with adultery were raped. he met the man who broke his heart, vividly re-experienced the traumatic incident he tried to recover from, and was paralyzed with anxiety. the paralyzing anxiety left him feeling unable to move, speak, and think clearly. he regretted speaking too soon and apologized to kaew, saying that he "didn't know things would turn out this way" (episode 3, 31:21). i doubt he thought ahead

jom is a nice person. rape wasn't a part of his plan. he was threatened with homelessness and lashes. the truth would have come from the overbearing pressure to tell it. the presence or absence of revenge wouldn't have changed the outcome
