He was literally in a slave contract with the company, so going to Korea would’ve been better for him. But he prioritized the group as a whole rather than just himself, which I don’t think counts as selfishness. I will dumb it down for you, he was never portrayed in a negative light, so he never had the chance for real character development, which made him pretty boring.
Same I prefer junpo dynamics more.it would be so good to see enemies to lovers trope
i know right!! Have you watched Kiseki dear to me ?? it is not as high budget as Thame po but it has that enemies to lovers trope especially the 2nd couple

I don’t think you understand what character flaws are. I couldn’t find any meaningful struggle, conflict or consequence that arose cause of the “flaws” that you mentioned. His selflessness only makes him more loved and did his jealousy impact his relationship with Po? If like you said they were ACTUAL flaws, wouldn’t he have to acknowledge and work through them for character development. Also it doesn’t take more than 2 brain cells to “get him” cause he is pretty 1 dimensional.
Thame being a Mary Sue ruined it for me. I prefer my characters a little flawed and selfish. Honestly would’ve preferred if Jun was the mc, the contrasting personalities between jun and po was something i genuinely enjoyed.
this might be an unpopular opinion but they have no chemistry whatsoever. I loved the plot of century of love, but imo it would’ve been better with a different cast. This one didn’t even try with the plot and their interactions made me cringe. I still hope they prove me wrong with their future works but for now these two didn’t do it for me.
And were is the problem? He is older than 15 and when you are 15 you can have legal sex with an adult. The problem…
I don’t understand why everyone is so offended by my comment. I expressed my opinion, and never tried to “make a big deal”. It’s your mother’s choice, and i respect that but FOR ME pairing a minor to perform romantic scenes with a 28 year old seems wrong. People are going on and on about how it is HIS choice but they don’t understand how this industry works. Minors are more easily influenced or rather forced by people sitting in power. AND EVEN IF HE WAS ACTUALLY WILLING, I WAS NOT COMFORTABLE WITH THE IDEA. Hence i wont be watching it, if you have no problem it, go ahead and watch it.

Even if it's legal after 15, that doesn't make it ethically right. There's a huge difference between what's legal and what's morally acceptable. Minors are still developing emotionally, and pairing them with adults in romantic roles can create unhealthy power dynamics and exploitative situations. Even if something is legally allowed, it doesn't mean I feel comfortable watching it.
don't forget the guy is her BOSS. even if is the WRONG demand, do u expect her to really argue with her boss until…
I agree, you are right but these kinds of show encourage that. In no way, it is okay to harass an employee and FOR PERSONAL REASONS??? This was wrong on so many levels for me and that’s why i dropped it.

you don’t get fired for standing up to someone even your boss ( that’s because there is a thing called worker rights which provides JOB SECURITY), in the first scene she spit the wine on her boss. At that time it was fine that she stood up but just because the ML is “good looking “, she should just keep her mouth shut ??? Even if this is all fictional, these things got on my nerve and i hated every bit of it
