Exactly my point. Like writer was better off showing him being the one who pushed Goon off the bridge by mistake…
Both the bros love each but Shin didn't show it in front and that caused him to spiral even more in his own misery unable to understand his brothers' pain
@Aaahaanaaa,Hello.Your words here are articulated very well . . : "Gone are the good old days when even criticism…
Ikr... I've been watching kdramas with my mom ever since 2010 and back then I didn't even know how to read subs and English being my, idk 4th or 5th language didn't help either, I was that little. Also, 2010s didn't have such fast subs and websites ( at least not in my country). We waited for months after the show ended to get updates and platforms like weibo pirated sites. I became a part of the drama enthusiasts community naturally as I grew up. I was amazed at how beautifully, the reviews were shared on different platforms but nowadays people that freedom of speech for granted. Just as I have my freedom so does the other party involved and it's infringing their rights if I slander them for my own satisfaction. In my opinion, I can't call that freedom.
People criticising Goon for being a simp, are clearly missing out the whole point, he never tried to love Juyeon the person but Ju Yeon his saviour. He has put her high up on a pedestal for being the only one by his side. Plus, he is saddled by guilt and relief that his saviour is not dead trying to save him. He is trapped in his past because that was the only warmth he felt. She was his light at the end of the tunnel so he still cases after her not realising that doing so is streching out the tunnel even further for him. The key is for him to realise he is being used as a Guinea Pig and then realising that he actually loves the Person JuYeon in front of him and not some ideal first love version he has in his mind, only then he'll be able to respect himself, his relationship with Ju Yeon and also create a healthy relationship with her from scratch.
Shin is such a selfish P.O.S & my point still stands even after the reveal. He's a coward & inconsiderate lil'…
Exactly my point. Like writer was better off showing him being the one who pushed Goon off the bridge by mistake or something e Because this revelation honestly ruined his character even more for me. It feels like writer tried to save his character, paint him as a responsible hero of the family when Goon was living in ancient past but completely disregarded all the times Shin saw Goon being disrespected in the family and by his CEO but never took a stand for him at his behest in front of him.
After this episode, it is crystal clear that Sae Yan's real dad killed Juyeon's dad because of his mental illness that happened due to his family leaving him for him being an alcoholic/ abuser this her mom said that there's no need to dig bad memories of everyone. The thing with Lee Shin is that even when he tried to commit the unthinkable, he only thought about himself, he had it hard ofcourse but he made Goon feel like he liked taking things away from him and didn't take stand for his older brother who loved him so much that he didn't think twice to sacrifice his well being for him but Shin didn't even take his stand in front of him when the CEO of his agency ridiculed him in front of everyone, yes he said he'll leave if CEO did the same to Goon again but that must have been said in front of everyone not behind close doors.
The moms of Sae Yan and Lee Goon obviously mean well but go about their actions in the worst possible way, even the mom of Little Cutie is a bit like that.
I love this show, the clumsy take is what defines it no? I thought that's common sense, but so many people hate it that now I doubt my judgement. My drama list comment section feels like a warzone and Instagram these days...gone are the good old days when even critisism of a drama was written so thoughtfully 🫡
I said because of LS because he ruined his career to save him that led him down depression, his parents took him to Australia as a replacement of LG which led to him falling into the village river, the han river incident and the pool. Thus 4 times
Lee Goon and Sae Yan despite their own traumas never disrespected or disregarded any relationship but Lee Shin and JuYeon on the other hand leverage their own insecurity and trauma to do whatever they like without thinking about the feelings of others involved. Lee Shin is selfish and Ju Yeon is a coward but no one ever told them that.
After the forced kiss SML tried on FL she still trying to empathize with him as his doctor and for her real patient Goon is quite stupid according to me. Only watching this drama for Goon and Sae Yan and Ju Yeon's past
Who else thinks that Sae Yan's bio dad saved Ju Yeon when she was drowning to get back Lee Goon's medal and everyone thinks the girl died there di*d there but no the man and girl go to the city, man gets treated by girls father for his family leaving him and running away due to him being an alcoholic abuser but doctor implies it was his own fault, enraged he stabs Juyeon's dad and is the one stalking Lee Goon and Lee Shin. I'm loving Sae Yan and Goon's sibling / boss-employee relationship, and JuYeon and Sae Yan bond, I don't want it to be ruined by this. ðŸ˜
After this episode it is safe to say that what my first theory was is actually correct that Ju Yeon is his first love who lost her happy memories due to the trauma of her dad's demise. I think that killer is the one following Shin, clicking pictures and saw the entire scuffle of the day Goon fell into the river. I knew it that Sae Yan must have been an orphan but turns out she had a single mother that why was bullied by all and was saved by Ju Yeon, later got adopted by gang leader in Italy. She will get her freedom in the end, Ju Yeon will recollect all when she reads Goon's real diary that Sae Yan left in their house. At the end of ep 12, Goon will recall that Ju Yeon is his first love itself and by 14 he will remember everything but not go back to his old self he will learn to cover those scares with new happy memories and teach Ju Yeon the same as well. Shin didn't push Goon but he was frustrated by his blames and got into a fight with Goon but he is definitely a coward who hides behind smiles to hide his real feelings and thus harbours negative feelings for his family and brother alike. By the end he will sign with Goon agency, reveal everything of his feelings and the accident and become free. He will end up with Sae Yan itself.
I reinstalled the app and refreshed my wifi
Try doing that once
