Now that I look back at it...the fact that Yi Heon said he's tired and passed in was kinda a glorification of s*icide since it felt like "it's okay for him to give up, he went through a lot." The novel had the premise of, "It was wrong for you to not face the evil first hand and turn away from all of it but it wasn't your fault you had no one guide you but now I'm here" which according to me was a right way to go
This show was a 10/10 for me. I feel really bad for Yi Heon when he said he was too tired. It's hard to break your she'll when the whole world tried to push you into it not too long ago. Deuk Pal in Yi Heons body could do it because he had such loyal family of the gang and was truly respected so he knew how to take his stand but Yi Heon who was casted aside by his mom, dad, evils secretary, the person he wanted to be friends with all the while being bullied so bad so obviously he couldn't take his stand all of a sudden. I do believe he could live anew but he chose the highway to let Deuk Pal who could be happier in his body occupy it and make his life and name fruitful in his stead. The way he didn't hold grudge against Se Kyung but understood him and forgave goes to show just how pure, kind and selfless is was. He was really a gem. This show was amazing. Some highlights were Jaemin's character development after having an 'adult' guide him through the right path and a friend by his side to show him his wrong ways. Se Kyung finding a way to respect his father but at the same time standing up for himself and being really happy while enjoying studies and studying hard. The gang disbanding to lead a better life, Yi Heon being happy at the end, the mom fighting for her dreams and her son, the arrogant father knowing his place, Mi Kyung kneeling Slas she should, I hope she apologized sincerely to the real Yi Heon and the mom.
Now all the people criticising the drama for removing BL tag will realise the reason, Yi Heon is dead Deuk Pal survived so obviously it'd be weird if there was a BL tag here
I knew it...just as I said last week Jae Min honestly apologised and Deuk pal's kindness helped him own up to his mistakes giving justice to Yi Heon and also setting his own life straight. The Dong Soo gang got a good ending as they deserved for being the most loyal to Deuk Pal. The only sad outcome was our Yi Heon, I wish he could live on. His character truly showed how trauma once set in is really hard to overcome, atleast he was satisfied to see that he got to see the life he always wished for. I thought Deuk Pal though he was our hero will disappear in the end but the writer threw a curveball, it'd be sad if he died too but in a way he got to experience all that was in his bucket list plus made memories he couldn't have made otherwise but Yi Heon couldn't. Both were truly selfless and kept the feelings of others before their own
I love the fl family so much. The step mom and sisters aren't all lovey dovey but clearly care for her which is so refreshing and fun to watch in a step sibling set up.
I love this one so so much... it's a breath of fresh air. Cliche but not really as it's used in a very fresh set up. This is so good! This light hearted drama is the real comfort drama of the year no big sad event and every adversary solved with satire 🤣🤣
Ko won must have fallen for the brave Lim Sun for saving him and will start to actually mend his ways and work properly because he did not plan to do that earlier. He will see her transformation and will keep her secret after knowing from her what exactly happened. Ji ung will fall for Mi Jin but he will see her hug Ko Won and be sad as she keeps her transformation a secret to him. But she will use her brains and brawn to help him Sol e the case by the day and care for him by the night. At the end she will get honorary prosecutor/ detective job but i don't know how the cat will reverse this magic. The cat if original Lim Sun cat so it granted her this blessing to bring the crime to light. Maybe the killer has such ability too like Behind your touch. The ex soldier is suspicious but his daughters message made me want to not point fingers at him right now but if he's still sus after ep 8 he IS THE KILLER who also becomes young at night.

I don't know why people are criticing Mi Jin so much. Till now she didn't do anything overtly stupid. Girlie is trying her best to fit in as a person who turns old by the day and ofc she can feel tempted to open the file of the prosecutor as he acted like it's such a big deal but left without saying anything. She was standing at the intersection because the place clearly didn't have cars go around at the time and she thought it's safe as it's her hometown. Stop imposing Mary Sue in all female leads.
