I do not realize this drama has been aired and I keep checking news about Guo Jun Chen. This drama is good but it doesn't show case his acting skill. Hopefully he will get better drama that showcase his acting skills more in the future. I have high hope since now he sign with IQIYI.

To be fair, it is part of negotiation. One party can request and the other party can reject. It's normal in business.

If you don't like the drama, I doubt you will like the novel. They also change the story quite a lot from the novel. But don't let it stop you from trying though if you are curious.

Guo Junchen sign with IQIYI. Hopefully, it will be release soon. But probably they will release it after Guo Junchen become more well known.

Thank you for sharing. I understand the need for cooperation. But at the same time I feel weird because these platforms seems compete very hard against each other with their dramas released schedule. For example if Tencent release popular drama at that slot time, IQIYI will do the same.

Does it mean this drama will also release in IQIYI even though it was produced by Tencent since CZY and SYJ signed under IQIYI ?

It baffles me then why IQIYI don't release Reba dramas. I mean Reba can make money for them. Guo Junchen also has dramas that hasn't been released for more than 2 years. Let see if they will release Guo Junchen dramas now Guo Junchen sign with IQIYI.

I wonder why CZY and SYJ act in this drama and yet it was broadcasted by Tencent while both are actors from IQIYI.

Why don't IQIYI give Reba chance ? Are they having conflict with Jaywalk or Reba ? I thought it was investor decision not platform regarding casting choice. Not saying platform cannot influence it.
