From my understanding, YY send huarong to the past. The past in different timeline has changed. CY and WY no longer have ill fated romance due to Phoenix no longer being hunted by heaven emperor. Heaven emperor scheme being exposed by Xi Chai. So they can have a happy live. For the current timeline, based on the story, it seems that both of them are death. Personally, I see YY and WZ become normal human instead of dying.

This is just my interpretation. It could be wrong.

I think in different timeline in the past, YY mother doesn't die. The heaven emperor doesn't need to go to the past to take Xi Chai primordial. It is just to show audience that he kill Xi Chai instead of Phoenix. If you mean when suddenly Phoenix stop moving, I think it is the heaven emperor who stop the time to stab Phoenix.

Personally I don't think WZ died after removing huarong from her body. More like, she lost her Phoenix power and become normal human (but this is just my personal interpretation or my hope. In real she could be died). Even though the heaven emperor said huarong is Phoenix primordial spirit, I consider it more like Phoenix power to make her immortal. Even though YY is deity, he could still died like Yan Luo. Being deity doesn't mean you cannot die. I interpret his word as he kill himself after removing huarong (if Wei Zhi died).

I don't think Wei Zhi family descended from Phoenix because in theory, there's can only one Phoenix and Phoenix doesn't die (even though YY stab Wang Yue with Chixiao sword). Technically Phoenix still alive due to Hua Rong still exist. The egg can be new Phoenix due to Wei Zhi lose her huarong. His father or grand father only know that Wei Zhi has some kind of supernatural power due to her ability to burn things randomly.

I am not sure about the bracelet. Actually this part is confusing, how can pendant suppress Phoenix power. I just think it as mysterious bracelet with strong power.

Don't worry. I like to discuss things too. I understand it's frustrating when potential good drama was ruined. I too wish the story and ending could have been better. But it is what it is.

Regarding the ending, yes at the time, they have ill fated romance. At the time, Chen Yan is in difficult position between his loyalty to Yin Keqi and his love toward Wang Yue. Yan Yue doesn't want to kill Phoenix. He was brainwashed by heaven emperor.
But now they don't have ill fated romance again because the past has been changed. They no longer hunt Phoenix due to emperor scheme has been exposed. So Chen Yan and Wang Yue don't have ill fated romance anymore and can live happily.

From what I understand the ending, is in different time line in the past, they don't have ill fated romance anymore and they (Chen Yan and Wang Yue) can live happily. In the present timeline, I interpret that they are no longer God of Red Sun and Phoenix and live as normal human. You can try to read the novel using google translate. Just think the novel as alternate universe. It is quite different.

I understand your feeling. Personally I am not sure how much influence director has over the story. But the editing could have been much better.

My advice: don't take things too seriously. Personally I really like the actors acting especially GJJ (Yan Yue) and the story is quite enjoyable.
I like his Good and Evil xianxia story better than this. I just hope that GJJ can have better script next time.

The ending in novel is Both YY and WZ kill heaven emperor together and they reincarnate as human couple.

If there is someone need to be blamed, I blamed Siba and screenwriter. Siba is well known to mess with the plot to promote their own actress.

Why there is no this in WeTV. I think this show is really good for actors and aspiring actors.

And here I thought her costume and make up is much more extravagant compare to other characters. Even GJJ as YY (Red Sun God) has worse costume than her.
