I really like the series. Park Hyung Sik is amazing in the role. Love the revenge plot.


Unfortunately, the weakest part of the series is the FL. What a horrible character. Why was she written this way? I hate the romance plot because of the FL. The poor actress is doing her best to portray the character. However, her efforts are not yielding any results. The character is trash.

I agree that the 2nd brother has made bad decisions that affected his family. It's just that his story is also not compelling to me. So, I tend to focus on his character's choices and decisions.

After the 3rd brother, the 2nd brother's story is one I also do not care about. I do fast forward some of his scenes.

Oh he definitely has to fall first. For the story to work, he has to be the one to fall first because of how he is being written (i.e. the uptight, no nonsense, "plays by the rules" kind of guy)

I didn't mind the scenes of the 4th brother (i.e. the Professor) and his TA. I liked their scenes this weekend. 🥰

The way I do not care about the 3rd brother and the hairstylist/starker fan. 🤮 I fast forward most of their scenes. I was pissed that they had a scene with the FL that I had to watch.🙄

2nd broher's wife is an absolute annoyance. I hope they divorce asap and her character leaves the show. 😒

My faves are the 4th brother and the TA. I also like the FL and ML...but I need a different plot for their story. No more misunderstandings ...please. 😭

If the ML believes whatever stupid gossip Silla Brewry chariman spews about the FL, I will seriously doubt his level of intelligence (referring to the ML). I hope the ML is smart enough to realize that he has to find out for himself if the FL is actually the person the Silla chairman paints her to be.

So far, it looks like the 19+ version of this drama is only available in SK, on TVING.

It seems tvN did not make the 19+ version available for global distribution (or maybe there is a cost-related reason. Maybe the license for the 19+ version cost more and the various global streaming platforms applying for licensing are going for the cheaper, censored version🤷‍♀).

I have lost count of the number of times I have watched Secret. It's one of my top KDramas. The drama is my jam. I LOVE it!!!!

Ji Sung and Hwang Jung Eum are fantasic in their roles and their chemistry is 🔥🔥🔥🔥. The supporting case is amazing.

I don't blame you! I also put it on hold since episode 13. I realized at that point that this was a binge series for me. I am too anxiety-prone for the inconsistent schedule Youku has for this series.😭

I will wait till all episodes are released, then I will binge-watch episodes 14 to 32.

I really hope Youku doesn't pull this type of stupid scheduling for The Story of Pearl Girl. 😑
