The only person in the FL's corner is her mother. Eventhough her mom is problematic, I still think she is a lot better than a lot of the other hypocrites that claim to be Jae In's family.
Might be an unpopular opinion - but I find the FL's character & romance to be badly written and the weakest point…

You are so right with your comparison to Reborn Rich. The romance plot in Reborn Rich was also very bad. That plot was not needed in Reborn Rich at all.
I really like the series. Park Hyung Sik is amazing in the role. Love the revenge plot.
Unfortunately, the weakest part of the series is the FL. What a horrible character. Why was she written this way? I hate the romance plot because of the FL. The poor actress is doing her best to portray the character. However, her efforts are not yielding any results. The character is trash.
