Based on the trailer there are some dark scenes with the Prince that we have not seen. Since we have not seen them, I'm guessing those scenes come later. I won't even be surprised if he loses his memories as Jin An when his old memories come back.
It totally makes sense to me why the direction of this drama is superior. Especially the scenes between our main couple. This series is directed by Deng Ke... The same director behind Prisoner of Beauty. Oh... this is going to be goooood. No wonder all the intimate scenes have been spectacular. Deng Ke knows how to direct a couple in a romantic story. Especially when his direction is paired with top notch actors like in this series and in Prisoner of Beauty.
With such a talented cast (supporting characters included) and a director like Deng Ke, I believe we're in for a great ride (as long as the story is good)!
I'm really liking the way Jin An is charactized. The fact that he is so googly-eyed and soft is very important for the story because once he gets his memories back and becomes the Prince again, there will be a stark shift/change in his character. We've already seen a bit of his prince persona and he is a red flag through and through - dark, arrogant and domineering.

I don't know about trusting my judgment 😂. However, I highly recommend this series. Especially, if you love well-told love stories starring very talented actors, who also happen to be good looking and have smoldering chemistry.

I love Song Yi in and Cheng Lei in this show. They are giving me everything I want in a "enemies to lovers to enemies" story. The fight scenes = Amazing. The costumes = stunning. Cheng Lei was made for this role and personally his pairing with Song Yi has become my favorite Cheng Lei pairing. The chemistry between them is amazing. I mean... I get 3 different pairing dynamics based on the 3 "characters" he plays and I'm here for it.😍

I'm Team JI all day, every day. I root for her and I hope she gets justice at the end and finds love with the ML. But.....at this point in the story, she needs to move out of their house. The character if JI that we have come to know will not stay in a house when one of the owners has asked her to leave and has left the house because of her (i.e. the uncle). This behavior not in line with how JI has been characterized thus far.
