Can someone tell me if there is any emotional connection between the leads or is it just the one-sided shy love/infatuation/toxic attraction between the leads? Because the video format of the drama is new for me, though the cinemtiography is beautiful. I don't know, it feels 2015/16 in some ways. I'm still debating if I should watch this or not.
I watched the trailer and the dynamics feel so interesting. Because hierarchy in relationships do exist and I really hope they handle it with sensitivity. It will be really intriguing to see how Luan Nian becomes more humble and Zhi Tao starts standing up for herself...
I feel like the writing will actually not take it far enough and that will be the nail in the coffin. Like they…
I feel like that will be interesting...but I hope it is handled with sensitivity and the leads don't start emotionally cheating on each other. As per the trailer, feel like the female lead is interested in reviving the relationship, can't say anything about the ml β but feels like he might cheat on her emotionally or maybe, even physically later!
i don't know why, but this is my gut feeling. That this might turn out be a huge disappointment despite its beautiful cinemtiography and all the hype!!
To all the people who say the ending was so weird and confusing, honestly, it was not! It was quite realistic…
does he suffer through the same things? to a certain extent, yes. but her taking time off, was it wrong? absolutely not. this drama could have been even more well executed with 4-5 additional episodes!
Ok someone break it down for me HE or tragic, for main leads? π€
To all the people who say the ending was so weird and confusing, honestly, it was not! It was quite realistic for Meng Ting Hui to go and recover from the trauma that the Blood Moon Sect put her through and then, the death of Yi Qing/Shagguan and Sita Xue and so many people of her kingdom, plus Di Nian, Huang Bo, The Left Prime Minister and God knows who all. It would be really stressful and trauma inducing for her...good thing...she left...travelled, met new people and experienced new cultures and taught in a girls' school just like she and Fu Zhi imagined but then, Ying Gua came that means β her dream has transformed into something bigger and more impactful, while her also choosing her own happiness. I do believe there should have been 36 to 38 episodes, the ending was rushed, but still tied up many of the loose ends. I still hate the director for all the absolutely heart-breaking deaths of some of my fav characters!!! But still, the friendships, the subtle romance, the wits, the comedy, the scheming, makes me rate this a solid 9 out of 10. Come fight me if you want to, but I won't change it!
