Despite his age, he is still pretty handsome!!! My favourite was his role as Cao Cao. That was just mastepiece!!! Also his role in Reunion (The lost tomb 3) is great. Perfect villain!!! I admire him so much. Then legend of awakening wasn't bad either, I laughed many times. Stay with me and Sweer dreams were also nice. He is amazing as a good guy, but his villain roles are always amazing. Like you want to hate him, but can't. Can wait for his next projects. He has more dramas and movies though. Movie Promise is really nice.
AGREED, @Xue Yin!! Well-said comment! I'm watching Count Your Lucky Stars right now and their chemistry is off…
Thank you! XD I mean, everyone have right to have an opinion, but to miss great dramas just because of a stupid age gap... And age gaps are so common, it's just that sometimes they don't look like it. There was a pretty big age gap in chinese drama The secret of three kingdoms, where the female second lead was older than the male second lead. Even though she is beautiful, you still can tell she is older. Even in the mainl couple the female lead was older XD But the chemistry between them... Loved it.
I thought so. I wasn't sure though, cause it was very good quality dubbing. Usually you can spot that the mouth moves are different from the voice. It's really common in Chinese dramas and movies and I hate it. I understand that Chinese is a language that relies on pronounciation, but the dubbing should be at least matching. Although, I knew that Cao Cao's voice was dubbed immedietly. It was just too clear and perfect.
For me Count your lucky star is great. It just works between them. And to be honest, most of the Asian people look younger than their real age. If the actors real age wasn't known, most of the people wouldn't notice that big gap, I think. It's just a stupid stereotype that people should date someone their age, same as dating the opposite gender. Love is way more complicated than that. Seriously guys, age shouldn't matter and not only in the drama. Your love for someone, that's what matters. Some people prefer someone their age and some people prefer someone older. It's kinda stupid not to watch a drama just because of the age. As long as the chemistry between them works and it's not weird like Mr. Back. XD
One of the best I've seen. Love happy endings when the lead/leads realise that their happiness is more important than being afraif of society and family. The mother was typical homophobic bitch not only against same gender marriage but even International. Nice example of a selfish parent, who only cares about the ilusion of being "normal" and what other people think. Love Japan so much, but these things are pretty annoying for me as open-minded European. Glad that things are changing with new generations.
Season 2 Trailer: https://m.weibo.cn/status/4538997734904531?
It looks damn good. I think that the season 2 will be more thrilling and advanturous. XD Can't wait for it. I have so many questions, so I hope I'll get some answers.
Hey, the official date isn't known yet. I even tried to search websides in Chinese language but nothing. All that I found is that the second season should have around 38 episodes and it shouldn't take long for second season to be released. I hope it will be released in autumn or winter.
I would like to know the time gap between This series and The tomb of the sea. If the plan already happend before…
Yeah, that makes sence. I hope there will be more series that will continue. I like the actors in The lost tomb 3. I loved Qin Hao as Wu Xie and Ji Chen as Hei Yan Jing in ToTS, because the actors are really charismatic and I thought I won't like the ones in TLT3, but they chose great actors.
Can't wait for season two. It's so bad that there isn't a release day!!!
I would like to know the time gap between This series and The tomb of the sea. If the plan already happend before…
Ah now I get it. Did you read the books or where did you get all these information?
Also I was confused about the story line because in ToTS, when Li Cu is bitten by red snake, uncle Wu in the memory said "... If you see this memory, I am probably dead...", but in this reboot Wu Xie and Second uncle are looking for him, so does it mean that he is still alive?
And the second reason why I was confused is that all of the actors look older in ToTS, but they look so young in the Reboot. I love The grave robbers chronicles series but the actor changing in every series is bad.
Based on the information that I've got Chongqi happened year 2017. And in episode 24 the clue that Wu Xie got…
I would like to know the time gap between This series and The tomb of the sea. If the plan already happend before the TOTS or it will happend after. Since this should be year 2017 and TOTS was shooted in 2018. Secon season should have around 38 episodes, so I hope I'll get some answers.
I'm curious, is BHT/Wang Junyi the decendant of Wang family, the one who tried to destroy Nine Families??
That's a great question. Maybe we will see in the second season. There should be around 38 episodes. But I guess that Wu Xie should learn about Wang family soon since he knows about them in Tomb of the sea.
hahaha, i found LTR HYJ much more appealing than TOTS. As for Su Nan, she's kind of old and stiff but then again…
You should better change your comment into spoiler. XD And for me HYJ in LTR is great, but more like younger style. And HYJ in TOTS is more like mature, experienced and damn handsome. XD

And I am really interested what is the connection between the main villain boss Jiao and Bai Hao Tian according to the picture in the gallery here!!
I hope there will be more series that will continue.

So this Reunion is after Tomb of the sea?
I thought it's before that.
This is so weird. ZQL got lost and Wu Xie wad looking for him in ToTS and now ZQL suddenly appeared again.
All of the series since the mystic nine should be better linked and the time line should be better explained.
Secon season should have around 38 episodes, so I hope I'll get some answers.

I meant the book series.
Too bad it's not available in my country and I can't get it online.
They should have made first The lost tomb 3 and then Tomb of the sea.
It was a good movie but still pretty weird ending.
The scar is pretty bad. In Tomb of the sea, Wu Xie don't have a scar though. I guess the producers didn't really think of that. XD
