Person Bai Lu
Till The End of The Moon
I can only speak for myself obviously but I didn't find her intentions and convictions weak really. I thought her POV was understandable. I also feel like she was strong, determined and compassionate at the same time, so I still think that fits what the OP was looking for. 😅 Even if they go with a different drama first.

I do know many things were cut and that's really unfortunate. 😔 (Not that I felt it ruined the drama, but still...) I read the leaked script way back but can't really remember all the details of the cut scenes. I'll have to go re-read it again at some point ❤️

Till The End of The Moon
I loved her character. They may have "whitewashed" the ml because censorship would never allow the novel version. It doesn't change the fact that her character was awesome and she was brilliant in it. So I do recommend Till The end of The moon too, even if it's not the first one OP watches.

Along with many of her other great dramas of course.

This is going to be subjective and down to personal opinion as she really has a lot of great dramas But I think One and Only is the one that's most highly regarded.

Ok, so I adore both leads, and I've tried to start this twice but cannot get past the first few episodes, because…
I'd say so. He goes through a lot of growth and ends up being a "green flag" kind of character. And supportive of her in pretty much every way you can be.

I'm so used to seeing a show do weekly episodes.but this show is dropping one every day lol.
This is normal for C-Drama. I don't recall watching a C-Drama that released weekly. Sometimes it's every other day though, or three or four days a week rather than every day.

I've ever heard anyone put out the siblings idea before. haha. I'm sure they'd pull it off don't get me wrong and it could be interesting. But their chemistry feels too..... non-sibling like to me😅 I've seen too many sexy scenes (and bts clips) of them now. 🤣

I did see an interview where they said they wanted to do a suspense drama together if they did a third drama. I'd be very interested in seeing them in something like that too.

I became a fan of the main couple thru tteotm, so i thought i would absolutely love this, since their chemistry…
I felt the chemistry was pretty hot and filled with tension from the beginning. So though they bickered a lot, It never really felt like it was friendly to me. Never really just friends/frenemies. Even more so given that they hadn't seen each other in 10 years. It's funny how we all see things differently. 😅

But if you're at episode 19. Just wait... some stuff is about to happen. hehe

Title Till the End of the Moon Spoiler
So this doesn’t have a happy ending?
It's sad, but I saw it as a happy ending because it felt like an implied future happy ending. Just that it would happen offscreen.

overall was good nice happy ending. disappointed they didnt solve her tear allergy though
You cant really cure most allergies like that. If someone is allergic to peanuts they are probably going to be allergic to peanuts for the rest of their lives.

It's exaggerated in the show but I think her allergy is based on Aquagenic Urticaria which is an allergic reaction to water in general (which also includes tears) and there is no cure for it.

i'm sure it's interesting but they reaally need to reconsider this 30ish epis format
As opposed to the 60+ episodes that some historical dramas had/have? 36-40 episodes is nothing. Though this one is a good length, Some costume dramas need to be lengthier to tell the story in an adequate way - especially if its based on a novel that has hundreds of chapters lol

Wrong drama page. Lol. This is "A Journey to Love"
I think they know. They are saying this drama was everything but my journey to you was disappointing to them.

the fact that mdl rating still 8.8 really tells that it is really a great show regardless of its ending. it’s…
Look at both but understand that one persons opinions might not match ypurs and tastes will vary. Also take into consideration that ratings can sometimes be skewed postiviely ans negatively s
Based on fanbases and water armies.

Douban is often overly harsh (6.8 on douban isn't bad for example) whkle ratkngs here can be inflated.

What a brilliant drama from beginning to end. It wasn't perfect in that there was a few pacing issues here and there. But as a whole, very good! Lots of really interesting and fun characters and the relationships between everyone was so fun to watch. Everyone gave their all in terms of performances with Liu Shishi, Liu Yuning, Alen Fang and He Lan Dou being the highlights. But really, everyone in the main group did a great job.

Love the OST, love the action, lovely romance. The drama had great humour while also the ability to be serious and to really really play on your emotions. If you have a heart at all, you may need tissues for this one. But it's worth it.

The ending is fitting. I know there seems to be a debate one what is real and what isn't in that final scene, but I honestly think however you see it, it works well for this particular drama. A sad ending that is also weirdly uplifting at the same time. I don't know how to explain that but that's the feeling it gave me.

And kind of open ended for the leads? I dunno....& it doesn't matter. It still feels like a proper end somehow, no matter how you look at it.

9.5/10 for me.

I believe it's from their bed scene no? In episode 36? It's just the bts of them filming it. They always film for such a long time with these scenes and then what ends up in the drama is like 10% of what they filmed. 😂

Just like that extended bts of the filming of Sang Jiu and Ming Ye's bedscene in tteotm which went on forever.

Actors delivering the goods only for it to be edited down lol *sigh*

Bailu and Yunxi are best pair in TTEOM. Zhang Linghe and Bailu are great but you don't really see the connection…
Watch her end up with neither of these men. 🤣 Someone's going to come out of left field and snatch her up haha.

I do really love YunLu's onscreen chemistry so if that ever did happen off screen, of course I'd be happy for them. But in general, it's not my business who is or isn't dating. haha. So good luck to all three of them.

This is according to the melons. The footage was of her walking into a Hengdian complex (apparently) that many actors stay in while filming. It was spliced and they never actually appear in the same frame. We'll never know for sure if it was BS or if there was truth to it at the time, unless one of them actually comes out with it. (which, let's be real.... I can't see either of them doing.) So who really knows. 😅 We'll be left to speculate.

Bahaha, 🤣 maybe he is making his move behind the scenes. Maybe the BL/ZLH rumours were a kick up the backside. Last month Bai Lu posted a video on social media with song lyrics as the caption "at this moment I finally have the courage to say I love you." Soon after that, LYX also posted a video with him singing the exact same line from that song.

Now I don't really ship actors in real life, but even I raised an eyebrow at that one. Coincidence, maybe but still....

It's under the Chinese name but you can still click on it and it will take you to its page where they have all the trailers available to watch with English subtitles. So I don't see why the episodes wouldn't also be available. If they weren't going to have them, they likely wouldn't have the page on the International version at all.

he was just being a normal person. he doesn't want to step on the dress. idk why her fans had to do some negative…
I just thought it was a funny, but awkward and cringe moment. Which it is, but I don't think it's that big of a big deal.

I think it's obvious what he was trying to do. It's just her reaction to it that makes it awkward. I mean, it may make you do a double take, and wonder about why she responded that way to him.

But at the end of the day, it probably means absolutely nothing, and was simply a weird in-passing moment that will be forgotten about pretty quickly.
