Everything Ive seen from novel is Tang Lici also treating her horribly and that he doesn't love her either. Poor…
I've read Black Moonlight Holds the BE script a couple of times and despite it not being what might be considered a "romantic" story, (Though I think it can be considered in the "Gothic Romance" genre) I did buy into their dynamic and they did love each other by the end. (in a romantic way, and even more so in the extras)
I just feel that that while Tang Lici does have interest in her, It doesn't feel like his feelings or interest is particularly romantic. I could go into what I mean more but then i'd be here all day so I won't. But again, I'm only talking about the novel and my own interpretation of where I am currently in it.

Where I'm up to, I don't really feel any "romance" in the novel. I don't see anything between the male characters like that, I think BL fans are reading into it. But not really with A Shui either. Obsession or interest of a kind, perhaps, but it doesn't feel romantic or like love. Different interpretations I guess...
No! YUNLU FOREVER! Plus Lu Lu is prettier! Hehehe.
I'm sorry. I'm a bit dumb. I just got confused when you said "you" and lets keep it respectful. So I wanted to apologize just in case I did come across disrespectful. My bad!
No! YUNLU FOREVER! Plus Lu Lu is prettier! Hehehe.
I didn't do any of that and I didnt mean to be disrespectul? π₯ I'm sorry if it seemed like I was.
I just have no idea about terminology regarding cp and gege fan. I've been a fan for so long...I just didn't realise other people might not consider me one because I like his cp's. Many of his dramas have romance so I like yunlu and some of his other cp's as well. I also didn't even know there was talk of a third drama with Bailu either.
I have a best friend who is the biggest feiyunxi fan. I never released they wouldn't be considered a fan at all to some people. π¬
Most of the people I've seen who like his cp's aren't like that either. Talking hate about about co stars, I mean. I've only seen it rarely.
Even here it seems fans were trying to politely call out that commenter for their post. So at the very least it shows you that people were aware it was uncalled for.
I finally finished it. What a ride. π it was very frustrating at times but I kind of enjoyed being frustrated because it was so entertaining. Cheng Yi and Yuan Bing Yan really were so amazing together. What a pairing! If only things were different i'd be hoping for another drama for this CP. But it doesn't seem like it's meant to be. So instead I will just rewatch this one again!
No! YUNLU FOREVER! Plus Lu Lu is prettier! Hehehe.
I'm so confused by the terminology. Never saw myself as a gege fan.. (not really sure what that even means) Just a fan of his.
So if you like his cps that means you aren't really a fan? Because I really love the yunlu cp... but that means I don't count as a fan? π π I didn't realise this. I thought cp was just the pairing. Liked the idea of his HYX cp too which I also know is extremely popular. & Like Song yi and lyx are a cp too. XiSong? XiYi?
Can we not like his cps and still be considered fans?
I mean I don't see the need to bring his other CP's to this particular comment section. But I do enjoy them.
I honestly am still puzzled by episode 34, when TJ was being dealt even more pain and suffering as per usualπ…
She was definitely cruel too, but I think he knows she also had compassion as well. There were acts that were genuine from her, despite everything else. She did want better for him. Better food, better clothes, the joy of a snowball fight, and this was all before she was trying to form the nails. She took on the curse of the world-alluring jade for him, not just because she needed to keep him alive (because of the bone) but because she felt he didn't deserve that fate. She denies what Sang Jiu says about him deserving it and willingly takes on that curse that she knows will doom her.
Then there is also the swap. I read other people word it much better that I ever could so I'm going to kind of say what they said. In that conversation with Ji'Ze he tells her if you don't want to owe him, you will have to owe the world. She cries. When the nails failed, she fails both her lover and the world. And when she swaps the evil bone for her divine essence she gets to save both. She wants him to have a second chance at life, she wants him to be free of the devil god. And with her divine essence he now has the ability to cultivate like he'd wanted but never could before. This intention was talked about in interviews for the show.
I think sometimes it wasn't always explained well in the drama though.
I'm finally getting around to watching this. I love the Xianxia genre but for some reason never got around to starting this one. it's also my first drama with Cheng Yi (I think?) I'm about 18 episodes in. So far so good so far.

I liked the scene where they're in bed together after Tantai Jin took back the love threads from Ye Bingchang. π₯Ή It was so cute and domestic.
I loved and sympathized with both of those characters. I just saw it as an amazing drama as a whole (despite some of the issues) It was very memorable for me. So I do recommend it. Even if I guess it wasn't for everyone.
I felt the chemistry was pretty hot and filled with tension from the beginning. So though they bickered a lot,…
Right! haha. They're both such great actors, but I feel like it'll just feel wrong in some way. π A lot of us will still have their sexy scenes in our head.
Yeah fingers crossed for something good for them. It would be great to see them in a completely different genre if it did happen.
This is going to be subjective and down to personal opinion as she really has a lot of great dramas But I think…
I also think her character was strong in her own way and it's one of her best performances. ( I suppose it depends on what the definition of strong is) But I probably should have been more specific. π I just thought, because they asked for the drama that's looked at as a "masterpiece", that One and Only seems to be the one that's really high regarded by a lot of people and critics.
The other ones I listed obviously all have her character as strong too. I don't think there is a right or wrong answer among the recommendations people have listed. Most of her big dramas would work as an introduction.
Li Yitong dubs herself in this.
I believe his parents passed away long ago. He worked his way up from nothing. He literally started his career busking on the streets as a singer.
I was excited for MM but didnt end up enjoying it

Again, sorry if I came across disrespectful
- A humble fan (I think?)
