Very well written, short, sharp and sweet.... I actually come back for this drama in 2019 after i watch Princess…
You and I are on the same page. I absolutely love Eternal Love the best with Ashes of Love a close second (Mark Chao just did it for me). Runyu is the reason I kept watching Ashes of Love and I'm glad I finished it. Let me know if you find another as good as these 2.

This drama really puts me on a hardcore emotional roller coaster. Despite that, this is legit my best C-Drama…
Its funny you should say that. I submitted part 2 of the article last week and described it as a roller coaster ride. You and I think alike. And I am also watching it over, its just too much fun.

Loved your article!Although I'm deeply in love with Xu Feng even after many many months of watching the drama..I…
Thank you so much. Truth be told, my heart belongs to Runyu but Deng Lun does an amazing Phoenix. I just loved all his Demon Realm experience.

That... seems like a heck of a ride. If a drama can make someone feel THAT many emotions, I'm pretty sure I should…
Just watch a nice tame show from time to time in between episodes. It really is worth the ride.

Run Yu 100%. He's a troubled dude. He makes a lot of mistakes and is a morally grey character for sure, but that's…
Thank you for the compliment. I will admit that in the beginning I came back for more episodes just because of Leo Luo. He was amazing and keep me watching every day.

Love your writing style. And I can feel you. When I rewatch this showI only watch the most satisfying moments,…
Thank you so much. I recommend looking at the YouTube videos as well. Very satisfying snippits of drama.

Wow, what a pleasant read. This article represents exactly the roller coaster of emotions I felt through the drama.…
Thank you so much. I admit that as the show went on, I wanted her to ignore the drama and spend more time with Mr. Puchi. He was one of the best characters.

this article is unbelievable...it just triggered worldwar3 straight......but will be siding team PHOENIX
Thank you so much. I will admit to be the lead on Team Runyu but as the show progresses, Xufeng is amazing. I just loved him.

Speaking of Mark Chao, have you seen him and Vic Chou in the Taiwanese drama, Black & White? I first watched him…
yes I have. The two are also in Detective Dee. Not as much screen time as Ye Hua/Mo Yuan but definitely worth the two hours for some Mark Chao time.

Ok. Love love love this. What does it say about us that we still watch them? How about these:
- the male giving the female a piggy back ride after she passed out drunk
-bringing the patient food at the hospital (is that permitted?)
- Rich people hospital rooms vs poor people hospital rooms (is that real in Korea?)
- Love triangle is always two guys and one girl (not enough women in Korea for 2 girls & 1 guys)

I like 'Weightlifting Fairy KBJ' more than 'Strong woman DBS' when it comes to female role models, it's more relatable.…
I haven't tried the Japanese dramas yet. I will start with some from your list. Thanks.

Love this article. I appreciate the 2 different viewpoints. It helps me understand why I like some dramas and others find them terrible. Great job!
