Only to episode 4 but I'm impressed. The FL is amazingly flawed and learns pretty quickly that she is responsible for some of her issues. I'm excited to see how this ends......oh and the virtual boyfriends are the best.

Good question. What does a bad guy do? They break people and destroy things. I felt she broke Nan Heng until episode 30. Everything she did was just awful. In my eyes, that makes her a bad guy. When I watched considering her as the bad guy, I could keep going.

While I am only on Episode 15, Liu Yan reminds me of RunYu from Ashes of Love (played by Yunxi Luo in WofF.) Another thought is Scorpion King in Word of Honor. Li Jing from Eternal Love or Rong Hao from Love Between a Fairy and Devil. All of them are fun antihero type characters that are the way they are because of their tragic past.

This is a common character in c-dramas. Some actors do it very well, like Alen Fang. He is really fun.

I am on episode 9. Do I want to finish this drama or will I be angry at the end?

Of course. How could I not read the novel. MXDX is an insanely good writer. I have also completed Heaven's Official Blessing. I doubt they will ever release the rest of the cartoon or the drama, but that book is just as beautiful.

Love all of those examples but my 2 favorite was Lan Wangji repeating Wei Wuxian's words and Runyu. Even tho' Runyu does what he does, he by far is the most amazing character in that show. We can see that he truly loves and at the same time, truly wants to be large and in charge.

I have so much love for Wang Hedi after LBFAD that I just can't hold it it. He was fabulous.
