It's 9.5 for me, that's so much rare for me to rate this high, but this worth it! I'll surely re-watch it someday!
8 rating is not fair! It deserves more! This have potential to be made into 24 episode drama ;( such a bad luck, it's mini series! Everything was perfect!
But don't ask me why! But it's a 8.5 for me!! I loved it sooo much (maybe bcz it gave bit vibe of YAMG) !! I would it 9, if they made the second couple less annoying and less screentime. I loved the main couple, I loved every single interaction of ml & fl, how every single thing he does for her. I loved meinan (fl brother) and ml brother, these two are angels! Meinan is one of the GREENEST FLAG! Slow, yes! But plot, imo good! I love Nicky Li, but their plot was so cliche, I only watched second couple's plot for first 5 episode, after I completely skipped their scenes, unless they are with ml/fl! And I love the character development of ml! And how fl is not stupid! Only problem is, many fillers and annoying second couple! If they edited it into 24 episode, maybe this will work even better!

I loved general, Caesar did a great job! As many in comments, my fl is annoying but she's not always waiting for him to save her! She's messy but, okay compared many other drama and also, this drama based on a novel/book, there the fl is 13 y/o and married to general! Also, to be bit orginal, they made her character childish! And my sweetheart, (An'er) Xiyuan, i loved him so much bcz he was sucha eyecandy also his character was so cute, naive, babyish! Chemistry was okay, so good amount of skinship, but not much Butterflies! I would have rated it less than 8, but last episode changed me(Good ending) and last SPECIAL SCENE was the best thing in the whole drama!!!

Leads were great just like their chemistry! After long time a couple gave me butterflies! Plot beautiful! It's a beautiful ending with tears and smiles! Loved the antagonist, he's hot and evil! And his gf, she was so freaking pathetic, hated her character the most, girl sees a red flag, she knows he potentially killed his ex and did crime but still she wants him, like HELL NO! Bcz of her I'm rating 9.5, if not I'll rate it 10!
Completed!!! Didn't work for me... Especially the little sister, annoying from starting till end! In Joo, i kinda dislike her sometimes, the way she acts foolishly!! And SHOUTOUT to my favourite girl IN KYUNG!!!!! I completed the series for her & her bf ( he was so freaking cute) !!! Choi Do il, role was cool! And I loved her grand aunt (i can't explain how much i cried when she died) Ending bad, not rushed but poor! Lot of plot holes!
Completed!!! And i loved they kept things as it was in S1, as in milk tea shop, fang lie loving painting, makeup company, Dr Zhang, and they didn't change his disease. Best thing they did is Change xiaobu to human, least favourite character shiyi, but he redeemed himself! AND THE ENDING WAY TOO PERFECT! Endings are something cdrama recently mess up, but they did it flawlessly!!! I don't see the need for S3, but if they make, I'LL SURELY WATCH!!! (Would love to see Shiyi & Candy there)

Triangle, very light! You'll love the second male lead but SLS, Nah! I can't clearly remember when they get together sorry, around early 20's but since romance is not main plot, there's not much skinship. No BREAKUP! That was a happy ending!
Romance meh.. but this is an art work! It ended beautifully, but i wish it was faster bcz i watched the whole show in 1.5x (1.5x felt perfect) Personal favourite first 10 episodes ig (where they are kids in cheese world, special SHOUTOUT to little Ji Jiang and strawberry Ji Jiang!!, he's the cutest). And last 4 episodes, all revealation, was interesting!! Fav duo, Strawberry PEI zi and his dad (i cried most when he said,"Can you pretend like I'm him", Gave me GO AHEAD vibes 🥺) Fl's dad is a great actor!
So, for me Pei zi carried the show and CHEESE PEI ZI >>> STRAWBERRY PEI Zi , i couldn't help but cry at 31st episode when i realised that Cheese Pei zi always loved her And feel bad for cheese Lin zhao zi !! This Gave me complete vibe of Someday or one day!
First 10 episodes, 100/10, last 10 episodes 100/10 ! Since it was so slow, it's 9 for me!!!
