In the preview you can see father Jin and Danggu fighting in what looks like the prison where the real Queen is being kept. The clothes of the person lying on the floor while the "Queen" is performing AoS looks like his, so I'm assuming it's father Jin that has died.
Since the poem has been at the front and centre of discussion in episodes 17-18 here is the poem as a refresher:…
The first half describes the ice stone. Water, fire, wind. You can't grasp, touch, or hold it - you can't own it as Bu Yeon said - you can only use it's powers.
The 2nd half is Master Seo Gyeong saving the ice stone and looking at it (faint blue light that it emits) and contemplating using it.
Guys, I'm getting emotional thinking how next week is the last week for AoS part 1 🥺🥺😭 😢 I will have nothing to look forward to during the week. We'll have to wait months before part 2 airs 😭😭😭😫

Looks like Danggu and Cho Yeon killed father Jin to protect the real Queen! And the "Queen" i.e Shaman Choi his sister gets pissed and reveals herself! And tries to soul shift! With who is the question!

I can't shake the feeling that Bu Yeon purposely trapped these specific people in the ice stone to test Naksu. See what would be Naksu's choice. Greed/power or choosing to protect the ones she loves with her powers.

Damn that kiss! 👁️👄👁️ Naksu saying her goodbyes to CP and Yul and saying that they will die yet she couldn't bring herself to see Jang Uk. She avoided him and then rushed to save him because she couldn't stand the fact that he could die. NAKSU choosing Jang Uk over everyone and her powers!
