I am venting there, I was in need of some good news hahaha YAY WE'RE BACK AT 9!!!!
lmao 😂 I went to the comment section there for the first time and omg. I like EAW but I haven't been invested in it like other people. Tbh other than AoS I haven't been invested in a KDrama like that before.
I think it's cus they're throwing a lot of things at them in the last 2 episodes. And seeing as they're going to release season 2 in 2024 or so, I can see why fans would be annoyed
Ok you guys, apparently another news media said that part 2 might come out at the end of the year! Here's a translation:…
The article also talks about how AoS has been able garner and keep great ratings despite it being 20 (and in total 30) episodes long and it being a fantasy drama.
AoS has raised my standards for KDramas. It consistently sets the bar higher every episode. Never have I been so excited to come up with theories and read other people's theories while watching a show! That too without getting frustrated! Sometimes shows throw too much at you and people start getting frustrated because things don't add up by the end BUT AoS! AoS does an amazing job at keeping the viewers engaged. Little details that are revealed in every episode add up and viewers can put the pieces of the puzzle 🧩🧩 together to see the bigger picture.
I love how unique our ML and FL are. Jang Uk is a breath of fresh air when it comes to ML. Even after being an outcast and subject to a lot of distasteful rumours all his life, he isn't full of hate and spite. In fact Jang Uk is full of love - he's driven by his emotions. Even learning how to do spells and sword fight. It's not because he wants to be better than others or prove them wrong. He wants to be good to make the people that love and care for him proud. JIN MU is the PERFECT example of how Jang Uk could have turned out! Full of hate, greed, and power hungry. But Jang Uk being judged all of his life, chooses to not judge others. Whether it was Naksu for being an assassin, Yul choosing to hid the fact that he knows about Naksu and has feelings for her, or just his general opinion about deeming those that use AoS as evil and monsters. He looks at both sides of the coin.
Mu Deok/Naksu - she's not a heartless and merciless assassin as she was made out to be. For someone that was manipulated and used by Jin Mu her whole life, someone who carried a lot of hatred and as someone who literally grew up alone, she's come ALONG WAY! She has formed genuine bonds and relationships with those around her. Her going from waiting to kill Jang Uk in episodes 1-2 (😂 I can't , girl literally plotted to take Jang Uk out somewhere far away and kill him 😅🤣🤣😅) to her doing anything to protect Jang Uk and be by his side is growth! If you watch carefully, she has never once lied to Jang Uk! We've seen just how clever and easily she's able to lie and get out of a situation but she doesn't do that with Uk. She's also a do or die person and most importantly she's a practice what you preach type of a person. Being able to persevere even in the toughest of moments through her will and wit and she has taught her pupil Jang Uk to do the same.
These two are so chaotic but somehow manage to balance each other out. THE LIGHT AND THE SHADOW. Brought together by fate ❤️
If you watch closely, on episode 14 where Mu Deok and Jang Uk are acting dramatically to get away from Jin Mu and from being punished, when Mu Deok pushes Jang Uk - LJW actually breaks character and starts laughing 😂😂😂 It's really brief and LJW cover his face with his hand so it's pretty missable. I only noticed it cus I was giffing the scene 😂🤣🤣 Now that I've seen it, I can't unsee it 😅🤣
Came here to see if anyone else wasn't surprised by who Gopuri was and I'm glad that pretty much everyone guessed who it was and that too pretty early on! I decided to watch this till the end because of Seo In Guk but damn literately everything about this show was predictable.
AoS was on a 1 week hiatus this past weekend. We'll get episodes 17-18 next weekend. They released some special bts/cast commentary episodes this past weekend if you want to watch those.
Yeah, my first guess was first quarter 2023. But I've seen people talking about a vacant spot for tvn in december,…
wow! @jxxvvxxkstan @Aramintai @Cau The most I have had to wait for the next season of a show was about 2 years! Which considering it's Doctor Who and it already has tons of seasons, it's wasn't hard! I just rewatched some of my favorite episodes.
