Yeah I was reading comments to see if the drama is my type to check out in terms of storyline because I like Wuxia but after ALP I don't have much faith in the director in taking good shot to deliver the flow of the story.

So now every drama need to start with the ML looking at all the girls to emphasized that and focus on that scene in the drama before he met the FL? In case you are uneducated on theatre performance root there is this thing called art performance where the delivery of lines and punctuation, expression of scenes, engagement of story is what makes an actress and actors stands out, an excellent scriptwriting that able to carry one flow dialogue to another so iconically that it became a memorable quote for years after its release. There is another whole side of the world that you ignore in favor of the glamorous world where actresses and actors gained recognization based on their talent. But obviously you don't believe in the facts that talent can actually sell because you are saying acting is selling their faces and bodies only. Well what can they do to change this corrupted perception if the consumer is the likes of you? But doesn't mean they are going to bow down and follow your low standard. Try to go past 16, but if you still have troubles with the way Xu Kai portrayed the character then maybe this drama just didn't click with you haha ^^; the thing with Xu Kai I like is that he never brings a character according to what people expected that character to be, he brings it how the whole drama need it to be, hence some people will feel like he is not good at acting or the character is not suitable for him because if you missed the drama plot, you will missed what his character should be.

What episode are you at now or have you finished the whole series? This is the type of series that make you understand the plot and character that was presented in the beginning as the more you watch the plot unfold, but if from the beginning you have the impression that a character should be young or old then maybe this drama is not your type.
